What do you guys think? Is this real? Or is this just an elaborate April Fool's Joke? I'm kind of hoping it's real. I liked Kids Next Door when I was growing up. I'd love to see even just a special of this concept.

If this is real, I am completely on board. I like the idea of the KND becoming the bad guys. And the idea that Number One (yes, I know it's spelt differently) being so far removed from his own people and friends that he can't see what he's become.

And if this is just a prank, I hope they finish it and reveal how it ends. Just leaving it like that...too much potential to just let it go.

...That... was not something I was expecting.

As awesome (and heartbreaking) as the Codename: Kids Next Door finale was, there were some unanswered questions, like what is the Galactic Kids Next Door? Is adultism really a disease? Who's really running this whole organization?

While the idea of the Galactic Kids Next Door turning out to be evil sounds interesting... part of me feels this is wrong somehow. Though another part of me is curious to see where we go from here...

Also, it's a bit too early for April Fools, innit? Guess we'll just have to wait and see...

It could be either (it's only two weeks away til April fool and if Invader Zim got reivie abliet in comicbook form, why not KND?) or maybe it's a pliot sketch should it continue?

EDIT- Ok I'm confuse now (yes I saw the latest video that it's not going to happened). So Number 1 betray mankind but that latest tranmission is that the alien aka Lizzy (Number one was dating an alien all this time?) want number 3 and 4 to saved everyone before or when number one press that button?

The symbols on the website seem to be a countdown of some sort. Maybe it'll end on April 1st.

March 31st? If it does turn out to be legit, then this would be an awesome birthday present from the internet. I can dig this.

If it's an April Fool's joke, then I continue to curse on how my birthday makes me predisposed to heartbreak D:

Countdown ends at March 31st. I still think that it's an April Fools Joke.

Even so, Happening Readiness Condition (HAPCON) is now upgraded to Level 4.
I dunno, I could see them getting Nigel's VA onboard for an April Fool's, but Nigel's, Chad's AND Cree Summers? Quite a bit of work just for a prank.

If it's a new series though, they should get GWAR RAWG to do the soundtrack for more episodes.

The animation feels a little choppy, so I'm hesitant to take it seriously. But, who knows, Cartoon Network had used April Fools to test the waters before. Remember Toonami?

Incidentally, was anyone reminded of Seele? Or was it just me?

Color me wrong but since Dave Brockie and Cory Smoot are now both dead and gone there pretty much is no more GWAR... at least none of the original members exist in this universe anymore.

They're just testing our faith, lying in wait to pounce upon an unsuspecting Earth.

On a more serious note, as long as they keep up the shows and ridiculous stories, they'll fit right in regardless of the lineup, especially with a more grimdark KND.

April's Fools or not, I will be heading to my battle stations once the countdown has ending... and I will be sporting the latest Battle Ready Armor teenage money could buy...

Other than that, this better not lead to my brain being erased or anything like that... I mean, the last time that happened was when others forgot that <link=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZ4pDHSXsqc>this actually happened...

I wasn't a fan of KND when it was still playing on Cartoon Network, but that trailer (mock or not) reminded me why I didn't mind if it was on TV.

That being said, I won't be disappointed if it's a joke or a one-off trailer.

So if the GKND are the bad guys does that make the adults on Earth... the good guys?

Wwheeeeeeee!!! Mind would be totally blown.

Apparently Dee Bradley Baker and Lauren Tom are also "Emergency Recommissioned" too.

I'm starting to lean that either this has been real the whole time, or Cartoon Network is seriously considering making it real...

Huh, I remember my son watching KND and getting me hooked on it as well. This would be an interesting watch, at least initially. Someone also mentioned the finale of the series, I may have to rewatch that now as I don't remember it.

It prolly is a prank, but at least it rekindled my memories of that show. I still like that crossover they had with...I can't remember the name of the show, but it basically had a grim reaper who was bossed around by a little girl...oi, I'll have to google this later as this will drive me batty.

The finale was called "Operation I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S." and the crossover you're thinking of is The Grim Adventures of the KND...

Fun Fact: The finale was only broadcasted once on Cartoon Network [in America] while the the crossover has been broadcasted from time to time since it was first broadcasted in America...
