Gallery: Pokemon Re-imagined As Giant Mechanical Zoids

A talented Japanese artists draws some legendary Pokemon as if they were robots from the Zoids universe.

Zoids [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/tag/view/pokemon].

Check em out below:

The Zoids anime is moderately popular in Japan right now, but just like Gundam before it, its real popularity lies in the hundreds of cheap plastic model kits on sale in hobby stores around the country. These Pokemon-Zoids really look like something that has been assembled from one of said kits, and makes me wish I could actually buy them.

I'd rather see Pokemon as Kaijus and favorite video game characters as Jaeger Rangers.
I mean Lara Croft and Nathan Drake are totally drift compatible. And they get to pilot Treasure Hunter.

Likewise Shepard and Geralt pilot Playboy Red against a giant glowing Blastoist.

THATS a post worth reading.

I would prefer they be Zords. That way, my team of six could merge to form one giant Megamon.

I'm only tangentially familiar with Zoids. These drawings are nice, though.

This is really cool and makes me really miss Zoids. I am sad now.

Also, the link to the Tim Burton version just leads to the LEGO versions.

Well, I so want to take the designs and 3D print them. Seriously, these would make for excellent figurines.
