I still prefer Tropical Freeze over Returns. Challenging, but for the right reasons, and much more level variety with playable characters. Dixie Kong for life!
I never played Tropical Freeze because I don't own a console to play it on, but I can see that. Returns was alright, but was seriously hamstrung with a bad control scheme that shoehorned in unnecessary motion controls.I still prefer Tropical Freeze over Returns. Get on that whenever you can.I never played Tropical Freeze because I don't own a console to play it on, but I can see that.
Exactly why the Wii version is completely obsolete and worthless now. Either get the 3DS version or the recently released Switch version. Even without the motion controls, Returns is only barely better than DKC3.Returns was alright, but was seriously hamstrung with a bad control scheme that shoehorned in unnecessary motion controls.
Hmm, I actually do have the 3ds version, but I never played very far in it. The controls still weren't very good.Get on that whenever you can.

I didn't have much trouble with the controls. But I found the game boring.Hmm, I actually do have the 3ds version, but I never played very far in it. The controls still weren't very good.
And to add insult to injury, the developers didn't even bother to include support for the Wii's "Classic Controller".I never played Tropical Freeze because I don't own a console to play it on, but I can see that. Returns was alright, but was seriously hamstrung with a bad control scheme that shoehorned in unnecessary motion controls.
