Where is Watch Dogs? One of the few trailers to show ACTUAL GAMEPLAY, and like, ten minutes of it, and it actually looked cool and wasn't really done to that degree before, and it was somewhat theatrical and portrayed npcs like real people....

somebody hand me a table

Where the fuck is Watch_Dogs?

Not a single mention, not a single award for a game that saved Ubisofts otherwise awkward but functional press conference? That game looked like the manifestation of coolness mixed in with a near future setting and interesting and inventive gameplay mechanics and enormous potential! Not a mention, really? Not a bloody mention?

Fine, The Last of Us looked cool. I hope it is as cool as it looks and isn't scripted to hell, because a fair bit of it looked scripted but Naughty Dog says it isn't.

Calumon: Nintendoland was a game? I thought it was about a man pausing a video to describe what's going on in some room with big words.

My Thoughts exactly. Watch Dogs was the coolest shit.

Holy shit, who fuck cares about Watch_Dogs. Everyone is bitching and complaining about that while missing the main screwed up thing about this list. None of the games listed were a surprise at all. It's a damn sad day when we get to an electronics show and there isn't a single surprise to be had about it. The footage is so lame and the list of things coming out of E3 is the among the saddest things I have ever seen.

They should really just stop having these.

well yeah we know the list is messed up, it's just that watch dogs not show up anywhere on that list is the most messed up to begin with

like, even if they aren't into "artsy" things specifically (and that's a stretch for this game) it still had cool explosions and good graphics and a badass being a jerk to the general public

come onnnnn

Watch Dogs isn't there because we barely know anything about it. 10 minutes of gameplay isn't enough to give an award over. Yeah, it was some damn awesome gameplay but we don't even know what genre it is.

Well...as much Watch Underscore Dogs is awesome, I kinda have to agree with it not qualifying to be nominated.
Should I waste valuable minutes of my life casting my votes knowing that they're rather irrelevant to anyone but me?
I believe so.

Best of Show
- The Last of Us (Naughty Dog/SCEA for PlayStation 3): I thought the gameplay was awesome, the graphics were great and different from the gloomy, brown palette we always see, the story looks interesting and its using the "save the princess" formula differently.

Best Original Game
- Dishonored (Arkane Studios/Bethesda Softworks for PC, PS3, Xbox 360): I was torn between all nominees. Unfinished Swan is good but we're looking for the best. The Last of Us is awesome but its not entirely original. Beyond looks a lot like Heavy Rain. So I'll give it to Dishonored. Of course, I haven't played any of those games so it's hard to judge...

Best Console Game
- The Last of Us (Naughty Dog/SCEA for PlayStation 3): I dunno. It's just probably the best choice out of the others.

Best Handheld/Mobile Game
- Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (Next Level Games/Nintendo for 3DS): AC is good but god, enough of it! Epic Mickey and Mario are good but its more of the same we saw less than 5 years ago. Luigi's Mansion was good and it had an original formula. It's about time it gets a sequel.

Best PC Game
- PlanetSide 2 (Sony Online Entertainment/Sony Online Entertainment for PC): Not my area of expertise to I'll give it to the one I know the most of. Biased, I know.

Best Hardware/Perip-- Yeah, I'm not even gonna go there.

Best Action Game
- Borderlands 2 (Gearbox/2K Games for PC, PS3, Xbox 360): Again, I was torn between MGR and Borderlands. But Borderlands 2 is shaping out to be a big blur of explosions and guns and, above all, fun. Whether it's good or bad, this one looks more action packed.

Best Action/Adventure Game
- The Last of Us (Naughty Dog/SCEA for PlayStation 3): It just seems like they handle that better!

Best Role Playing Game
- I can't decide. I truly can't. They're all good and they all have their own cool feature(s). So, undecided.

Best Fighting Game
- PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale (SuperBot/SCEA for PlayStation 3, PSVita): I'll give it to this one if only because I;m really curious about this title as opposed to the other ones that are sequels.

Best Racing Game
- Need for Speed Most Wanted (Criterion Games/EA for PC, PS3, Xbox 360): now, it might be remake...like the last 3 they've released, but you gotta admit it still looks fun.

Best Sports Game
- All of them. Because they're all the same. All the time. Every year.

Best Strategy Game
- Pikmin 3 (Nintendo EAD/Nintendo for Wii U): I always thought Pikmin was very original and fun. And we only have two of them. So about time!

Best Social/Casual Game
- Dance Central 3 (Harmonix/Microsoft Studios for Xbox 360): Can't get any more casual than dancing for fun.

Best Motion Simulation Game
- Just Dance 4 (Ubisoft/Ubisoft for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and Wii U): It's slightly better than Dance Central.

Best Online Multiplayer Game
- Borderlands 2 (Gearbox/2K Games for PC, PS3, Xbox 360): I still enjoy playing Borderlands 1 better than Halo or Blops. It's more original, crazy and fun.

Best Downloadable Game
- Unfinished Swan (Giant Sparrow/SCEA for PlayStation 3): It looks promising.
