Since I haven't recieved confrimation on their forums I have decided to ask you fellow escapists of your opinion on the pilot starring our beloved cynic.

For me personally, It felt like Top Gear but with Yahtzee replacing Jeremy, Matt replacing Hammond, and Yog the outspoken with James; the only driver on Top Gear not obcessed with speed and the Cars replaced with vidya games. All it needs is a Stig and it's all set. I don't know if that was their intention when they went out to do this show but It feels the same. Same reviews, same funny bickering, same lulz (for them it's viewer mail, Top Gear it's special guests and the Cool board) all replaced with videogames.

Well that's good for a start.

Here's a link to the website

I'm also aware of the copycat threads but I feel that this one is the most informing (personal bias).

i reckon it'll be good for them to get into the spotlight a bit (real world tv rather than websites). But then again you don't want them getting too full of themselves...i dunno it's a hard decision

From what I have seen of it I have found that I like game damage. Maybe not as much as ZP quite yet but it still does what it is made for. Being to tell gamers game news. The fact that Yahtzee seems diffrent in Game damage compared to what we hear in ZP surprises me but none of us know who or what Yahtzee is really like so I would say it is all to be expected really. I have recently seen a TV show called Good Game and I have found that the 2 are surprising similar.

All in all I like it. I don't like the damage it does to my bandwith but I currently think it is worth it.

I hate to be a wet blanket, but I found it rather cringe-worthy. Whilst good-ol Mr Croshaw was cynical as always, I did find their combined performance rather wooden. Add to that what appears to be stage makeup (I thought Yahtzee had plastic skin), and a series of rather unfunny sketches (which were, might I add, pointed out to have been done REPEATEDLY before by other shows). Yahtzee! Get off this show with your dignity intact! (Though if he likes doing this, and wasn't forced into it by certain evil gremlins that inhabit the dark dungeons of Escapist HQ, then he can do whatever.)

This is who Yahtzee reminded me of.
I'll stick to ZP.
The show has potetial but the HALO stuff got old very quickly.
The MGS stuff was well done and the Duke Nukem was amusing.

Throw some money and polish on it, and I think we have a pretty good show. There were a few flaws, but I think most of it was due to it being a pilot without a lot of funds.

Meh. I didn't care for Yahtzee, the other two were much better in my opinion. Yahtzee was just being an asshole, not a funny one, just the ones you want to have NOTHING to do with.
