Alpha Protocol.

I have never encountered a game so unfinished, broken, and sloppily put together. The part that made me return the game was the boss fight against Brayko.

Fuck that guy.

That mortar section in the Bad Company 2 campaign is pretty damn unfair.

Nothing ever made me rage as bad as this though:

I always found that stupid fucking box room with the floor spikes to be a million times worse.

Are you talking about the the room with hudreds of herpies, the archers and such with the conveyor belt that pulls you towards grinders. Near end of the game to. Come to think of it I think the developers were trying to make the game unbeattable so that they had time to make GOW 2 lol.
No, I'm talking about the room where you're trying to make that necklace or whatever and you had to push a block into a small corner of the room and leap onto a ledge with a very unhelpful camera angle before spikes came up through the floor and instantly killed you. And every time you died you had to pull the switch which made you watch a five second cutscene of doors closing. Which while only five seconds got incredibly annoying Because I FUCKING GET IT, THE DOORS ARE FUCKING CLOSING YOU FUCKING GAME I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU AND SHIT DOWN YOUR THROAT IF YOU DON'T FUCKING WORK FOR ME THIS TIME! Just thinking about it gets me angry again : (. I think GoW1 was made by a group of insane people, locked in a room while they thought of ways to make a fun game that would inexplicably torture and hate the player at random moments like this. Then they'd start throwing shit at eachother because something startled them.

GoW2 was made by people who walked into the room after the previous developers had all died of disease and starvation, except for one who ate the others to survive, and they imprisoned him and learned from him. Unfortunately all they really took into consideration from his insane babbling was those fucking wraith enemies I hate so much.

Really? i know what level you speak of,but not to be a dick or anything that took me two tries. The first time i didn't know the holes in the ground had spikes in them.

Another one is the Force Unleased facing Darth Vader for the second time on the hardest difficulty (yes the one that you unlock after you beat the game once). You literally can't touch him. If you come close and try to attack he slaps away your attacks and proceeds to rape you with his lightsaber or you can try to run and he'll laugh (in his sick mind) and pick you uo with the force and start whipping you into the walls. One of the few things I've given up on in life.

The last boss on Advance Wars: Days of Ruin is composed out of bullshit. Let's just pit me against some guy and his giant fortress armed with mortar launchers and laser beams, as well as having the ability to spawn any 2 units each turn free of charge. Now lets add all the regular elements of a battle as well. Bullshit. Not doing it.

Most recently, MW2. Got bored and decided to try it on Veteran. I just skipped the Favela missions in act 1 because of the intense rage it brought. But one part made me put it down for a few days, and that was during the oil rig mission, I died repeatedly (apparently being the only person with a weapon on my team. Shitting AI...) when after 20, long, long minutes, I finally battled through. Made sure everything was clear. Yup, it was. It said checkpoint reached, and Soap began to talk about breaching the door. When all of a sudden BOOM. Shotgunned to death, and apparently it didn't like that checkpoint, and promptly sent me back to the start. Ragequit.

I've got Resident Evil 5 and found it pathetically easy. All you have to do is exploit the AI with the environment. Funnily enough the only mode I haven't completed it on is normal (I don't know why I guess I've never gotten round to it).

OT: I'm usually a very calm guy and I don't mind if I lose, but it's if I keep on losing and have no chance in hell that I start to get pissed.
The only game that has managed to get me to flip out and put two holes in the wall is COD:4 on single player. I was trying to do the final missions on Veteran but there were just too many enemies and it doesn't help that your "allies" don't move up until your already past it.
I'm never going to attempt that again.

LOL I think you're talking about the timed mission when you have to go down that hill while I swear two friggin full armies are marching UP the hill. For those that haven't tried this on veteran, you have three minutes anf the enemies can kill you with two bullets. You can't hide because it seems the devs gave the AI radars similar to those in Halo so sneaking past enemies is a lost hope. Managed to finish it after about 12 hours worth of tries. No joke.

Yeah that one was bad too... a lot of the traps in Pandora's temple were nasty. That one where you had to swim up and down under the on-rails spikes was tough also.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed. It's not that it was hard, but after ignoring all the awful parts of the worst port I've ever seen done from console to PC, the boss fight turned to a quick-time-event battle with a fixed camera.

Let's just say that it made me consider making an uninstaller program that lets you wail at a virtual representation of a folder with different objects while it does its job :p

Farcry 2. I just recently rented it but damn. The roads are all canyons, never saw a zebra, was playing on easy and got my ass kicked. I just sent it back after three hours.

Modern. Warfare. 2.

The final level of Act 1. That mother fracking favella. that level just wasn't fun, at all.

Oh, and the multiplayer in general. They reeeeeaaaaaally need to patch that game. Please, somebody, fix the hit detection....please? I'm sick of getting killed because somebody shot the space of air next to me, and I'm VERY sick of knifers who take advantage of the lag...
Yeah, I was going through the game on veteran for the achievements, but that level was just ridiculous. I was able to get through 1-2 levels in a sitting, but for that level, it took me 3 SITTINGS TO GET THROUGH IT. My blood pressure just rose too high to continue, and I had to cool off for a few hours before coming back to it. Each time I only advanced 1/3 of the level.

Also, most racing games can make me angry enough to stop playing.

Saints row 2. The ronin mission where you bury the bosses kid. You have to race around on motorbikes while cars try to run you off the road.
All the while trying to shoot the kid off his bike. It was also raining when I did it.
I stoped playing that game for a week. Damn motorbikes.
jump in the car to the right and run his ass over, thats what I did.
Well, now I feel really stupid.

First Killzone. The swamp level.
I still haven't beaten it. Though I actually like the game.
And this is how most of my games end, hence, the reason I play on easy.

Dagra Dai in Ninja Gaiden 2.

Cheap is a poor way to describe him, but I don't think there's another word for this. Every attack of him stuns, does a lot of damage, is nearly impossible to dodge and hits multiple times. During the fight two powerful enemies constantly respawn, throw fireballs at you and mess with the targeting. Healing items are extremely limited, with six healing items(three large and three small) that could have been used in the enemy-filled hallway before the boss fight, an area that guarantees health loss so you won't even start the fight with full health or healing items. Dagra Dai himself hovers above the ground in a game with very limited aerial attacks and whenever he's on the ground he's constantly attacking. Oh, and he's a three-stage boss fight where the final form had the most reasonable way of dodging a very powerful attack patched out.
This.

Trying to beat Hilary in a race in Vice city. I'm not going to do any of the other empire missions because that is exactly what the game wants me to do.

I got the Secret Armoury of General Knoxx DLC for Borderlands, and it's so difficult I haven't been able to get through it at all. All of the enemies are advanced Crimson Lance mercs that are a higher level than me, and during one encounter with that ninja miniboss at the very beginning I was killed so many times the boss unspawned, and one of the main plot threads never started, so I think I broke it.
You didn't miss too much.

In other news, when i first started that one, i was just running around and their ship crashed into me and killed me. I was looking the way they were coming and was like 'what is tha....SHIT"

Anytime a game pulls out an invisible or near-invisible instant-kill trap or gimmick. It's basically a "fuck you, reload and remember it next time" trick. Absolute cheap shot and piss-poor game design.

You know what's hilarious? I made it past the difficult part just yesterday, because I figured I might as well try again, and I just got back from playing it for around 3 and a half hours. I'm having a huge amount of fun.
