So im about to go on a trip which requires some nice long plane rides so I decided I'll be breaking out the psp. I currently own Crisis Core which was a great game but need something new to keep me interested. I was thinking of getting Final Fantasy Dissidia. Any suggestions or thoughts about Dissidia?

GTA Libery City Stories & Vice City Stories
Tekken Dark Resurection
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max
Guilty Gear: Judgement
Soul Caliber
Persona
Any of the WWE Smackdown VS Raw games, they are all a fun waste of time even if your not too much into Wrestling.
Monster Hunter is also a fun waste of time
X-men legends 2 is a direct port of the PS2 game
Silent Hill: Origins (Very intimate and spooky)
The Lego Starwars/Batman/Indiana Jones games are also fun
Sid Meiers Pirates is also a wonderful time sink.
Worms

I wouldn't know. I don't own a PSP. I prefer the PS2 and PS3 consoles ALOT more.

Basically all its ports and spinoffs from the PS2/3. Almost all of them are not bad and are entertaining.

I didn't like Fate: Unlimited Code, While it had some interesting character designs, I found the gameplay to be amazingly stagnant.

Tekken, Street Fighter, Soul Caliber and Guilty Gear were all superior. Even the King of Fighters Anthology (despite lacking 2002) provided a more in depth play experience.

Fate: Unlimited Code reminded me of Evil Zone, but without all the aspects that made Evil Zone fun and quirky.

I am curious as to what you enjoyed about it, perhaps I am missing something that made Fate stand out. I was really looking forward to that game, and I was highly disappointed when I finally got my hands on it.

If you want a simple hack&slash, get Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony.

It's really nothing more than killing enemies while reaching objectives, but both normal and hard modes take about 20 hours to complete(hard mode is going through the game again with enemies 50 levels higher).
The game isn't hard, but if you enjoy slaughtering enemies you'll enjoy it.

Dissidia's pretty good. Might want to get GTA too, although don't play it in a car or else it might make you sick.

I will give you that, the story was fun and interesting, but I cant help but feel that the story would have been better suited to a different genre. The 3D Fighter aspect just felt tagged on.

If you like Final Fantasy, I would definately recommend that you get Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. Plenty of hours worth of play in that, make no mistake. On the other hand, you could get the PSP ports of the first two original games (the first is better, in my opinion).

I haven't actually played Dissida yet, so I can't really help you there, although I personally am not a fan of fighting games, even if it does feature such epic battles as a fight between Sephiroth and Tidus.

It's a fighting game spin-off of a Visual Novel. If you aren't already a Type-Moon fan, you probably won't care about Unlimited Codes. But if you wish for a different genre for your Type-Moon spin off, then Fate Extra is probably going to be for you. Details are scant, but it looks like FSN+Persona 3.
I'm down with that. I enjoy Video Games that break molds and transcend genres, and I play plenty of Japanese titles (Even with partially finished fansubs) so I am not completely unaware of the visual novel, story type games. I just felt Fate: Unlimited Code gained nothing from trying to tag in a worn out and tired fighting system in there to tell their story, but FSN+Persona 3 sounds interesting.

I will keep an eye out for Fate: Extra.

Dissedia is a good game if you like fighting games or a fan of the final fantasy series but if you don't like both types of games it's not for you.

Can't comment on Dissdia but if you enjoy turn based combat go Persona, the remakes pretty good and the music takes a bit from P3/4.

Dissidia is great. I definitely recommend picking it up.
The GTA titles are good as well.

Personally, I love the game, but I would suggest downloading the demo off PSN first to see if you like it... Free demos are always great... besides that, I have Crisis Core, God of War, and Killzone Liberation. All three of those are pretty awesome too. I had Resistance, but I couldn't really get into it and found the FPS controllers on PSP to be annoying... neither set really worked for me... :/

I only recently got a PSP and I bought Guilty Gear XX Accent Core. But then again, you've already got a GG game. How about Puzzle Quest, I can play that games for hours on end.
