While GameGrumps was fantastic at first, it eventually devolved into Jon and Arin blabbering about random nonsense while a game is played in the background. To the point where you could clearly tell they didn't care about what they were playing at all. That wasn't fun to watch, and more often than not it was annoying to watch.
Admittedly, I was wary of the new Dan guy since I had no idea who he was. But I watched the new episode of him and Arin playing Punch-Out and I found myself actually enjoying it. And I haven't enjoyed a GameGrumps episode in ages. So yeah, this was definitely a good thing and has made me want to watch more of this stuff again.
Plus, maybe Jon will finally put out some more JonTron episodes, and that's definitely something I can get behind.
