I'm talking about games that don't have a "Hero", and which is your favorite. Mine would be Planescape: Torment. The entire game is trying to figure out who you are.

So pretty much any game where you don't play a "Hero" would qualify. Hitman comes to mind. GTA. Anti-heroes work too, though I'm talking about games where that isn't really the point.

That's a tough one, there's not many I can think of. Would Guitar Hero count? XD

The best I can think of is Fallout Tactics. You do generate a main character, but you're no hero, not like the Vault Dweller or anything. You and your squad mates are just Brotherhood of Steel grunts, nothing more.

Runner up would be The Sims... you're not really playing a hero, just an omnipotent sky-tyrant with a thing for setting wooden tables next to fireplaces. XD

Civilization and all related games.
Hmmm...Since it's your own self-interest you are trying to accomplish, this works. Some RTS games have you playing as a hero.

Most RTS games, I guess.

Then I guess you could throw in those moral-choice element games.
But Kratos has to be the best anti-hero Ive played in a game. Really, all the guy cares about is Murder. And murdering all and any dudes that get in his way between... whoever he REALLY wants to murder- badly. Rather than just murder regularly.

It's hilarious in how metal it is- and how incongruous he can be. Just a psychopath character for a game that would not make sense (or be so cathartic) without him being so murder crazy
