Yes, this thread again.

My only idea is of a game that uses all music. No audio aside from effects and the music. The music would include lyrics and would tell the story, and set the mood for the game. It would be a first person shooter with a lot of pretentiousness and overly artsy. The music would also have to be varied.

Overall, the project would probably spend millions on royalty and not have enough money on publicizing and end up flopping, but I would love it.

Heres one...

A 3rd person zombie apocalypse game... Yes, another one...

But your character is trapped inside their safely secured house and is living quite comfortably for a few weeks till supplies run out... Thats when you need to go out, break into other peoples houses and gather items and food...

Eventually you can build barracades to make access to the other homes easier... And than later, you could fortify the entire block that you live on... When you get this far, you'll be able to allow other survivors to move in... and at some point, wage war with other fortified neighborhoods...

Lastly, there is a large focus on stealth... from sneaking into enemy neighborhoods, to safely passing zombies... also, the game ends when either you die, or wipe out all zombies in the city the story takes place in...

I have three and I'm too tired to explain it at length so I'll sum up the first
so it's basically Devil may cry+Zelda+Star Fox+Fable+Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Sci-fi action game with heavy magical elements, a plot involving inter-dimensional travel (it's later revealed to be a trick) very heavy on action but switches between comedy and being serious very quickly and ends with the main character being immortal along with several others after all life in the universe fades away, only to attempt to recreated life through his own suicide.
I've told my friends the plot in great detail and my mouth hurt afterword because I was talking for 20 straight minutes.

I have a few actually but I won't bore you I'll just say one.

Control

You play as a team of four professional corporate sabateours and assassins who are tasked by a mega gaming corporation to eliminate a former employee and retreive the information he stole from a rival gaming company. You quantum leap between the four men:

O: A "smooth operator" and hustler in the same vien as Templeton "Faceman" Peck from the A-Team. Specialising in Subterfuge and Stealth, O is the weakest of the four.

∆: The youngest of the group and the resident tech and weapon specialist. Able to use technology and guns more effectively, ∆ sacrifices power for speed when it comes to hand-to-hand combat.

X: The most balanced of the four, X has been in this a long time and his experience shows. Able to use guns, hand-to-hand combat relatively well and pretty good at subterfuge, X's only weakness is technology. He looks and sounds like Morgan Freeman.

: A psychopathic nut like Mr Blonde from Resevoir Dogs,   excels at hand-to-hand combat and is able to find some pretty disturbing use fro most household items. Subterfuge and Stealth are not his forte, though he's ok with a gun.

The levels in which you find yourself playing anyone of the character however are not ideally meatched to said character. In a level where you play as   may see you having to rely on the character's weakness rather than his strengths.

The story is "mostly" linear though, like in Hard Rain, the way you interact with people determines the experience.

Essentially it's what you get if you mixed Resevoir Dogs, Hard Rain and Inception but without the weird Sci-Fi.

pretty close to my idea. The only dif is that I would want it to be a open world mmo and instead of fighting AI humans you could either kill off the other people playing or make an alliance with them. There wouldn't be levels-ish,what would happen is that the more you used something the better you would be with it. Like using hand guns all the time would make you deadly accurate and able to reload faster. Building enough barricades would allow you to build them faster and stronger.

edit: there would be Cities/towns that AI humans have taken over and barricaded. You could get missions from them or attack them. One idea thats been floating around my head is the ability of putting a hit out on another actual player. Say someone pisses you off or keeps gankin ya, just put a hit out on em, then other players can treat it as a mission and you would pay em x amount as you posted in either supplies money ammo etc.
