A lot of things have mascots, rugby teams, companys etc. But today we're talking game mascots; now when I say game mascot I don't mean a character that represents a system like Mario for example, I'm talking the ones that can represent a game.
Like the Chocobo for the Final Fantasy games or the Pip Boy in the Fallout series, even the Big Daddy from Bioshock. The iconic little (or in some cases big) creatures, symbols or npc characters that can represent the game on it's own.
I was wondering what everyone at the Escapists favorite mascots, and possibly the reasons why they are your favorite.
One of my older favorites would be the Slime from the Dragon Quest series, a simple foe with such a happy look on it's face. Who knew that they would become such a staple in the series.
But my favorite as of late would have to be Claptrap, he reminds me a little bit of Gir from Invader Zim, except this one is helpful!
So what are your favorite/s?
