Game of Thrones. How would you like Joffery to die?

One of those crossbow bolts he loves to fire ricochets off of a spittoon and hits him in the crotch. Hilariously necessary.
I've been saying the exact same thing to my friends.

This is one instance where I would like to see nothing changed between book and screen. Treachery is a fitting end for Joffery. The only other way I'd like is if something so heinous happens Cersei finally realizes just how bad the kid is, that he is such a monster that the only good that can come out of him is his death, that it's a mother's duty to remove that which she brought into the world, and smother him with a pillow.

By old age, sitting on the iron throne.

Seriously though, I expect Khaleesi to brutally murder him with dragons!

Also, is she ever going to get there??

You have to feel just a little bit bad for Jack Gleeson. Supposedly, he's a really nice guy. I really hope people are not mean to him in life just because of the character he plays.
Supposedly a lot of the cast is worried about him because of his role.

So anyway just bear in mine that as of now, i haven't seen any of season 3.

I don't want Joffery to die. (Yet)

Weird I know but he's not the least likable character on Game of Thrones.
I would much rather see Sansa die than any other character. (I was pissed when the Hound saved her from rioters)

You have to know understand that none of this is his fault. As far as he knows he is the rightful heir to the throne.

And besides seeing his mother, Ahem "uncle" and grandfather die would probably be more traumatizing for him.
Who ever takes King's Landing could just chop his head off. But not before he makes Sansa suffer for being the worst character on that show by far.
She's boring and mostly useless, but she shouldn't be hated that much. Catelyn is worse, she's actually a detriment to her cause.

For fucks sake, that crowd would have raped her and maybe killed her, probably not since they didn't kill Lollys. I could understand if you wanted her to commit suicide, that's fair considering all she's been through and her likely fragile mental state, but fuck me that's a bit cold hearted to sentence her to that fate. She's a pawn but she does serve a purpose in the narrative. She's a foil, the classic damsel in distress, just like how Jon Snow is the closest thing we have to a classic protagonist that we compare everyone else to.

I kind of hope Tyrion just slaps him to death.
Damn you! I was going to say that. I do love it when Tyrion slaps the little ****.

Ok, I would like to see him fed very slowly into a huge meat grinding device feet first and then cooked and fed to the poor people of Kings Landing.

In a fire, in a really really big fire...with dragons and everything...it's only what he deserves.

I'd like him to fall onto his spiky throne from a goodly heights. It would serve two purposes; justice would be served and along with it, a healthy dose of irony.

Word of advice: putting what you said in spoiler tags without indicating what the spoiler is, is redundant, as people will still open it, as I did, without knowing what to expect, and thus be spoiled anyway. Just a heads up.

OT: Preferably something nice and gruesome for all the shit he's done and most likely will do.
No, I'm sorry, no sympathy.

You are in a game of thrones thread, and I put a spoiler tag up, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to do the math and figure out "Oh, this spoiler will probably be related to the damned thread and by extension Game of Thrones."

Hell the spoiler tag is even nice enough to say "Spoilers, click to view"

If it's too much trouble to ask for you to type 'spoiler=book spoilers inbound' then I apologise, but it's just a bit of common courtesy for those of us who open spoilers out of curiosity when they're not given context.

I have a different take on Game of Thrones.
I don't have a particular allegiance to any character or House. Mostly because I don't see why being King is such a big deal. (It seems like the throne is just one big target)

So I get attached to characters who show assertiveness in furthering their own personal goals and in that regard Joffery is actually a pretty decent character. For what ever reason he wants to keep the Throne and he's willing to do anything to keep it (Like kill babies) Sansa wants... uh. I don't know? She's an indecisive coward. She couldn't even decide whether to defend her sister, who was telling the truth, or her betrothed, who's a ****, and will probably remember that she didn't jump to his defense.
She doesn't even want to be safe, because
when the Hound offered to take her back home she said no

And yeah, it's a bad way to go, but was the easiest opportunity I could see to get rid of her.

Who's foil is she? The Queen's? She doesn't have enough personality or face time with any particular characters to be a very good foil. To me the only purpose she serves is to make Catelyn do the thing you're talking about.

Joffrey's an idiot, his best attempt at a scheme was just to have Tyrion murdered in plain sight during a battle in front of an army. Hell, he executed Ned and aggravated the north rather than just send him to wall and tried to have Bran killed just for the fuck of it.

His assertiveness is reckless impulse with a lack of morality, nothing clever or cunning about it, just a wild dog basically, doubt he really even had personal goals. If his goal was to stay king then causing a rebellion and not taking care of the citizens is a terrible way of going about it.

(That was Cirsei not Joffrey).

I never said he was smart... or that his plans were well considered, or that he had morals.
He's fifteen (And even younger in the book I'm told)

He's an idiot, and a ****, but he does stuff.
I'll admit that if Game of Thrones was more stacked with likeable characters I'd have a harder time not hating Joffery, but as it stands (And I only like three living characters as of the end of the end of season 2) I can't get picky about which characters I can't stand.
