If you take my sentence about you quoting Gabe as jumping down your throat I'll ask you to grow a backbone. I reference you quoting him because you're using his statement to back you up, I use the term "parrot" not as derogatory but since you're repeating what he said. Nor did I say I hate him or you so I don't see how I'm attacking you or him. I would address the rest of your post but you obviously think I'm biased against Gabe and you by association. Instead I'll just say this, lose the victim complex.
It was a very productive discussion, thank you.

Not surprising. There is no legal way to watch the show in my country, yet everyone has seen it. HBO does not even know my country exists. Online streaming services do not allow acess here (some claim its because high piracy levels. well duh priacy will be high if thats the only option. Importing GOT DVDs across half of the world? Yeah, if you can spare half of years pay for that.

TV subscriptions are ridiculous, especially considering that almost all TV is translated via internet cables and just converted locally anyway nowadays. We should be buying show subscriptions, not channels and least of all channel packages. sorry, i cant spare 10% of my monthly wage for a 20 channel package if i only want to watch a single show. heck, dont make it proportionate, (because proportionate price would be that an episode would cost couple cents), make it cost half a dollar per episode, people will buy it anyway.

ALso, isnt it about time somone finally made a digital download shop for movies/TV? not everyone wants crappy steaming.

That's the thing though. HBO does not give any other way to watch episodes as they are current. There is no Season Pass like for other cable shows that just have you pay for it along the way. I would have no problem buying episodes on Itunes as I would want to watch them digitally anyways as well as having a hard copy. The seasons are only available the same day as the dvd release and you can't watch them on HBO Go without having HBO in the first place! Why not have a subscription fee like other sites? I pay for Netflix, Hulu, and CrunchyRoll. Mostly because I can never get a hold of the living room tv in the first place because of my busy life and my family always having it when I can be home. Netflix you have to pay for to use, Hulu you need to pay for if you want to watch on mobile devices and CrunchyRoll I pay for because I want the shows as soon as they come available instead of waiting a week and getting to watch shows only available to paying members. So long story short, if they make it available for a good price and offer something I want, I will buy. I say at most charge $15 dollars for a month of HBO GO for people who do not have a cable subscription to it already. And maybe offer a discount of buying a whole year of it which it only charges you as if it cost ten bucks a month while offering loyal members coupons for HBO products as well as special features.
