Game Profile Thing in Mass Effect 1 Save Data

What happens if I delete it?

If that means all the characters I've played through get deleted, then yay!

I wanna go through Mass Effect 1 again... 4 times(Male Paragon, Male Renegade, Female Paragon, Female Renegade).

And Mass Effect 2... Another 4 times.

So that'll be like 16 times for Mass Effect 1, 11 times for Mass Effect 2.

I wondered that myself, as I have more than a few characters who looked like they went swimming in battery acid, but I didn't feel like going through all that turmoil again should I happened to get rid of the two characters I wanted to use later.

I have googled it, and one result wasn't clear on what exactly happened.
