Game related tattoos

Ive got a tattoo of the Crimson Omen from gears of war on the left side of my chest

I'm suprised that you wouldn't rather have a tatoo of your Dog character.

I'd definitely get something small that I could hide easily. And probably something I could use to represent 'all' of gaming, like a Space Invader, a super mushroom or Pac-Man. Perhaps a D-Pad and two buttons like a NES controller. They'd have to be tiny too, like thumbnail tiny.

I'll probably never get one though. If I did, it'd be joined by an equally sized LEGO brick and Batman symbol.

I've been wanting a Doctor Who seal of Rassilon tattoo for a good while now.

As for game related one I'd probably get the Lambada logo from the Half Life series.

If I was ever going to get a tattoo, which I highly doubt I will, I'd get something gaming related, probably something related to final fantasy since it's important to me and has some nice images.

I love well-thought-out game tattoos. They're subtle enough that people don't look at you and shout "NERD!" but clever enough that a fan would look at you and smile slightly and think "I get it." Example, I have the MGS exclamation mark on my arm. People have asked me about it and I just make up some bullshit about "staying alert in life" to which they reply "neat."

I also intend to get a red orb from DMC somewhere.

Second one is quality IMHO, really nice linework. Could do with some complementary ink around it but that's just my personal preference, I like them blended somewhat.

As for it being weird... it's only weird to other people, I don't care what they think!

Marek family crest... that's Starkiller's family, and by extension the symbol of the Rebel Alliance, am I right? I forget...

Also, the Paragon logo is a great idea. I always figured if I was going to get a game tattoo I'd get the weak point of a Colossus from SOTC, but Mass Effect actually means a lot more to me as a game. Maybe Skyrim as well, given how popular my characters went on to be when I used them in an RP.

You don't need a master tattoo artist to do 3 triangles. My first tattoo at some crappy shop on the beach. Just pay good money and don't be cheap.

I do love my Mass Effect tattoo, I got it when I was really depressed (had bad accident, nothing was going right, lost job) and it just perked me up. Evertime I look at my gaming tat's they put me in a good mood!

I'm actually saving up money to get the running animation of Crono, Marle, Lucca, and Robo running around in a circle above my elbow...all planned out. After that I'd make a "bracelet" of the controller plugins for NES to GCN around my wrist. (No I can't think of a Dark Souls one that would feel right to me yet, but I damn well would.)

I thought as much. Couldn't remember if Starkiller's real name was ever actually used in game though. I thought you might have been talking about a different game.

The fact that it's an equipment screen icon from an iconic game is a pretty good start.

Well since you said it was a woman who had it on her forearm I'd saw it be for her "Weapon" "Armor" Equipment slots like Tifa in "Dead Fantasy" Based on the more involved design by Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

I've wanted the Bioshock saying "A man chooses, A slave obeys" with the chain on my shoulder for a while.

I also like the Halo Legendary Tattoo, but I'm not sure where I'd get that.

I just like video game symbols and icons more than getting actual characters. Though some characters have become icons in themselves e.g. Pacman.

I don't have a tattoo, but I've tossed around the idea of getting a Jiggy from Banjo Kazooie/Tooie on my bicep or something.

Those games will be my favorite(s) until the day I die.
