What are strange little idiosyncrasies, restrictions, or other rules in games that just make no sense? For instance, in Call of Duty you can't reload while running. Wouldn't that be a basic task for an actual soldier?
So then, your thoughts?
EDIT: Okay, it turns out that my example isn't that far-fetched after all. Here's another one, though: Why does it take so many damn rockets to kill a Strider in HL2? You'd think that one or two would be enough.
Also, why is it that several bullets can't take down someone in powered-armor, but a single stab from a knife can? You'd think they'd have addressed that in the design.
Furthermore, even if a door is just a flimsy piece of rotting wood, if it's locked, it may as well be made of foot-thick steel.
