Minecraft.

I know I'll like it. But it's a huge time sink. I have so many other things I like doing. I don't want to add one big thing into my free time that might make me give up several other things or take chunks out of my other stuff.

Basically this. I know if I try it I'll get hooked, but then I'd spend all my free time playing it, and most likely end up with nothing to show for it.

Edit: Also, I was just reminded of something. I always wanted to try out Final Fantasy Tactics. The one everyone raves about, I think it's FF Tactics Advanced? Anyway, just never got it. I don't know why. Maybe I'll get one used off of Amazon or something...

I'd also like to get my hands on a Dreamcast and the SNES and NES for some classic games like Final Fantasy I, Skies of Arcadia etc. I think it would be cool to have them on their original platforms at least for collectors purposes

The Wii has a virtual store that sells NES and SNES games, aswell as others. Also you can homebrew your Wii (look it up) to get SNES, NES, N64 and Gameboy/Color/Advance emulators.

Yea, I know about that but, I'd actually prefer to try and get the original copies when possible and when reasonable. Thanks anyway. I'll use that if I need to.

Off the top of my head? Bulletstorm. Mostly if I miss a new release I'll end up spotting a used copy while browsing a game shop about a year or two down the line and pick it up.

Nah. If I want a game I buy it (it makes my wallet cry every time though...)

If I'm on the fence of buying a game I'll look for a demo to help me decide, or watch a "Let's Play" with that game. Hell, I find myself watching "Let's Play"s of games I want but I know I won't ever play through more than once, just to save money.

Twilight Princess. I had a Gamecube at the time it came out and I wanted to, you know, get it for the console I actually own, but everywhere I looked they only had the Wii version. I eventually just spent the money on something else.

I FINNALLY bought Assassins Creed Brotherhood but only because it was on sale for $25 at Target.

But, a better example would be Batman: Arkahm Asylum. I rented it and beat it around it's release but never bought it. This is strange considering how much of a Batman fan I am. I am also looking foreword to Arkham City, despite still not owning it's prequel.
