Game streaming options

I don't want to add a poll to this because I want actual feedback from people but I have a question to ask the community. Which site is better to stream a game on(from PC). Twitch or Live stream? And why?

One of my best friends wants to start doing this but as they aren't sure as to which site is better but knows they want to use one of the two sites. So, I thought I'd put it to the community since I have next to no experience with either site. Pros? Cons? Issues? Let's hear em.

If the stream is directly for Games and Only video gaming, Twitch is the best way to go, it's catered directly for gaming streams and as such has a significant amount of usability.

Livestream is more generally aimed at general streaming, and as such may be harder to get views.

There is also software that works much better with Twitch, such as OBS, a program i use personally.

When you say "better" do you mean better for the streamer or for the audience? Are you talking about features and streaming options or are you asking which one is going to get more views?

Have you considered streaming on youtube? From what I've heard from a few people the actual streaming features on youtube are more robust than on twitch.

My friend isn't fond of using youtube or they would. Better for both streamer and audience. Not really asking about views as my friend doesn't care that much about the views.

Well either would work then, twitch is just far more user friendly in my eyes when it comes to getting started.
