Wildstar. It is this MMO being published by NC Soft that really came out of no where. The art style looks really charming, but the cinematic trailer was what really caught my eye. It was actually... really fun. It had a nice sense of wit and self-deprecating humor that really made it great. I normally don't give a shit about cinematic trailers, but this one was really well done.
There hasn't been much info on the game released yet. But from what has, it seems like it will host enough unique mechanics that it will be different, but I don't think its going to rock the boat though.
Here's the trailer, if you're interested:
I'm not sure I'm "excited" for it, but I am intrigued. 'Course, a cinematic trailer, no matter how awesome it is (which this one is), doesn't really tell us much about the game. So while the trailer gives me the impression this game will be highly stylized and possibly filled with witty, goofy humor, I'm also reminded of how excited and amazed I was at the Dead Island cinematic trailer. And, how disappointed I was in the final game. So I'm optimistically cautious.
Also, this game reminds me of these:
