Game you love that everyone else hates?

Don't anyone DARE try to claim that this is overly loved. It was once in the good old days but these days no one game series has EVER been put under so much hate ever. Not even Sonic, and I do not get why. People tell me Halo is just space marines fighting aliens on distant planets... wrong in fact so wrong given that most of the trilogy takes place on Earth or a gaint ringworld, further more you are given the perspective of the Arbiter and the aliens in Halo 2. People say the gameplay is shit or average, yeah but damned fun and nicely varied, and considering the vibrant colour it is the opposite of a generic FPS these days. Everyone says it's way overrated, no it isn't because everyone is hating it. People tell me the fanbase are obnoxious and annoying... well I am not seeing to many threads to support that, however I am seeing plenty of OTHER fanboys who exist to annoy the Halo ones and get them riled up, in my book that makes them (others) more obnoxious.
I like Halo, always have and always will.
P.S if you don't like Halo just because it's not your thing and respect people who do still play it please disregard.

HAZE hasn't got a lot of hatred, per se, but people don't really seem to like it. I get that it's generic, and not really an amazing shooter by any means, but I really enjoyed it, (except for the disgustingly-unsubtle plot devices. Seriously, you could spot them a mile away and they more or less threw them in your face!)
Call of Duty: World at War I guess. It doesn't deserve the amount of abuse it gets. Yes, certain parts of the game are rage enducing (tanks never fail to get me mad), but if you know how to play it right you can have a lot of fun with it.
sonic adventure battle 2 and beyond up to unleashed. I was totally drawn in by the fact that i love sonic the hedgehog. But now he's like an overworked horse with three broken hooves and a pegleg. But i'll never forget what it used to be to me.
Final Fantasy X-2. I liked the percentage system and the way it finished the Final fantasy 10 story.
