Here's my list of epic win:
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (I prefer this version to the Wii version)
The Legend of Zelda Collectors Edition (contains Zelda, Zelda II, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, available on eBay if you look hard enough)
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Starfox Adventures
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Pikmin
Pikmin 2
F-Zero GX
Mario Kart: Double Dash
WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!

There's many more I could list, but I can't really because I haven't played them. I intend to though.
Out of curiosity, why not a Wii? It has complete backwards compatibility after all, and several quality titles.

Because my brother bought a Gamecube? He is less interested in gaming than I am and it is an expensive system.

Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life

Hey, it was an amazing game that i loved in 4th grade...
But be sure to play a hardcore killing game afterwards.

Fair enough, it was just idle curiosity after all.

definitely Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Super Smash Bros.Melee, and Zelda Wind Waker. And uh...maybe Animal Crossing?
...well it was fun 5 years ago.

These have yet to be mentioned, so:
Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil
Alien Hominid
Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and Lost Ocean
Beyond Good and Evil
Gladius
Super Mario Sunshine
Prince of Persia
Skies of Arcadia Legends
StarWars Rogue Squadron 2
Yes, I know that Beyond Good and Evil, Gladuis and Prince of Persia are multi-platform releases but they still count.

Practically every game on the GC. They're all quite awesome, that's the reason why I find any use of the Wii, to play games of it's predecessor.

Try the Resident Evil and Viewtiful Joe games. Zelda and Smash Bros. are neccesities. Beyond Good and Evil is worth a shot and I heard nothing but good things about Eternal Darkness. Try to get Soul Calibur and Killer 7 as well. That is all I can think of for now.

Luigi's Mansion (This, is necessary.)
Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II (Plus version has the Towers, if you can find Plus, get it instead, the Towers are worth it.)
Star Wars Rogue Squadron
Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime Echoes
Pikmin
Super Smash Brothers Melee
Resident Evil 4 (It ain't bad, worth a look)
Soul Calibur 2 (Good, simple fighting game)
Star Fox Adventures and Star Fox Assault
Legend of Zelda Wind Waker

This is a list of some of the GC games I own, they're all worth taking a look at.

If it didn't have nicktoons in the title, it pretty much was gold. Some how, devs did a pretty good job keeping games good if they bothered making them on the GC.

I would also like to add Ikaruga for the arcade shooter fans. I didn't get to play it much myself, but it looked like a CRAZY game if you loved those old games where the screen fills up with enemy fire for you to dodge.

Nobody's mentioned 007: Nightfire? A really fun game, especially to play with friends
