An offbeat choice: Dog, from HL2 and the subsequent episodes. He rips Striders' brains right the hell out and kills enemies by throwing cars at them. If that isn't awesome, I don't know what is.

this is a no brainer. the biggest badass goes to duke nukem hands down, he is the master of the one-liners and the biggest pimp on the planet. the biggest sissy is slippy from starfox, he is one of the few characters i absolutely HATE in all of my 20 years of gaming but strangely he is one of those characters that i love to hate and i would be very annoyed if they ever changed him
