I wonder what sized harddrive that guy had...
Probably nothing major. Photos and vids dont take that much space.

Anyway, the irony is when this guy becomes somebody's ***** in prison.... Hope he loosens up before the sentencing.

That's sick, and those boys are really, really stupid.

I'd want me some damn real money before I'd do that.

Where the fuck were these kids parents?

Further more; Why didn't these kids know they shouldn't be doing shit like this?

I'm disgusted on all fronts.

This is sick. But I don't get how any child can think there's nothing wrong with this. I would have reported it in a second. I would like to think that my disdain for humanity might actually be alleviated by this not being blamed on WoW. Then again, this story already drops my faith in humanity even further, so I don't have high hopes...

You know, this is the EXACT kinda stroy that gives video games a bad rep.
We should all jump into the back of a truck and go Kick-ass on this pervert.
Still, i would not be surprised if this was not the only illegal thing that WoW is being used for.

I need to question the parents of the kids... How could they not see the photos of their children on their computers? The kid has his own computer? The parents would still be able to get onto the computer to look at photos. Those were some heavily ignorant parents.
This isn't as unbelievable as you think. The kids he propositioned that had parents that checked the computer for this sort of thing probably wouldn't have accepted the deal, leaving all the takers the kids whose parents don't give a fuck or are too busy or too trusting. The very nature of this act weeds out kids who have protective home lives. Kind of sad.

let me guess..."it wasn't me it was the games fault! if i didn't have all that in game gold i wouldn't have even tried!"
Exactly, video games promote everything negative in the world.

Slavery, genocide. You name it.

Even Earthquakes and Tsunami's are created by games. It's sad but true.

He basically bought paedophiliac materials with monopoly money.
Truly, a new level of deviance, applied to an already twisted subject.

Doesn't seem like a big deal. They obviously didn't mind giving the pictures away, and if you're 14 you're pretty aware of your actions, so I don't really see the guy at fault for "exploiting" kids over a game. If anything the kids exploited him. People are so weird about sex.

If they were homeless or something and this took place with real money, different story.

Hell, I've taken pictures of myself for free. (Though only for women, and they did get me laid, so.. maybe not "free")

There are a lot of questions that remain unanswered in all this, but I think we all know which one is going to come to the fore first: How long before videogames are somehow held responsible for this?
You mean how long before WoW is held responsible for this. It's the only real monumental cashcow, and drawing the youngest audience.
