Actually, they did make it. The Weapon actually exists, or existed. Though not for real cash.

But to be on topic, thats just crazy..16k for a Weapon?!

Did this sale actually occur though? I only ask because if I had a new F2P MMO to promote, I'd say putting out a story like this would generate the right level of interest.

Exactly my thoughts. These stories always get some decent publicity, it could well be nonsense, dreamed up to draw attention to yet another F2P MMO.
