Ok, so i got the Conduit for X-mas and decided, what the hell, why not, so i try to play multi-player, and get a black screen, but with my HUD and sprite explosions going off, i was in gamer hell, could not play, and could not exit, without turning off my Wii.
Basically, what experiences in games have left you thinking, "This is gamer Hell!"

Your Wii breaking down sounds more like a blessing than hell. [sub]Zing![/sub]

When I had to install Mass Effect on 3 different computers before it finally worked.

Took me 4 hours!

[sub]Took Dududf 1 week to install it once. Owned![/sub]

When a poorly coded game keeps crashing or doing odd things.
I'm looking at you Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines.
Still a great game though.

Gamer Hell is unholy trinity of the Yellow Light of Doom, the Red Ring of Death and the Broken Wii Remote.

Gamer hell is a small room where there is only one computer and only one game, and that game is the Twilight MMO.

DOHOHOHOHO!

OT: I really don't think I've ever experienced "hell", per say. I have gotten royally pissed off a couple of times, like when Sony decided it was a good idea to release a system update for PS3 THAT WOULDN'T DOWNLOAD BEYOND 40% FOR 5 HOURS. This wasn't just me, everyone who tried to update during that period couldn't do it; the download would just fail at one point or another.

WoW Dungeon, DPS is outtanking the tanker, The mage is out DPS'ing the DPS'ers. The Healer is dead all the time ... And this was the first group I was able to find for that particular dungeon for days (literally) It took us five hours and seven tries for one lousy little dungeon.

Well, the computer just couldn't handle the sub subtitle. Everyone knows games are only allowed one colon per title.

Gamer hell is anytime the mechanics of a came conspire to piss you off and fuck you over, through no fault of your own... therefore denying you anything resembling fun

Like:

Meteor bits in dead Space

Escort missions in GTA4

The toxic tunnel in Half Life 2

The whole lot of Red Ninja: End of Honour

No worse hell then a game sending a random guy to knock off the last bit of your health at the last possible moment when your at a checkpoint and no health kits to spare.

Rather than bash a game, I'm gonna say gamer hell is being in a small room with a laptop and on that laptop is Half Life 2 Episode 3, Portal 2, Starcraft 2, Halo: Reach, and other games that fanboys swarm around. However, the battery is dying and there's no power cord. There never is one. All you can do is watch as a way to play some of the most anticipated games dies in front of you.
But as for a realistic version, I'd go with playing I Wanna Be the Guy. That looks irritating as hell.

Such a time sink and very little is accomplished. Especially trying to break in a lvl 80 at the moment, everyone has epics making it extremely hard to do anything worth while. Battlegrounds: people all have epics and are too strong. Dungeons and raids: don't have good enough gear... etc
