You think that's hard? Try beating it in Hard Mode. Cue pained moans.
I did, and for some reason, it was easier *shrugs*

Dont think I've thrown a controller before, not unless I knew it wouldnt be broken anyway like throwing it into a cushion. I have been violent towards my wall/desk though.

Dwarf Fortress is a constant source of gamer rage for me, but today was the crowning moment of frustration.

First, I got a huge wave of immigrants. I needed more immigrants, but I didn't want to get over 20 of them at once since it's a pain to assign them all their work in one sitting. I have to drudge through that, and then I had to assign each new dwarf a bed. After doing that, I had to organize the military to make sure all the new soldiers were properly equipped. Then I had to set up new workshops in order to keep production up after the population increase.

So after doing all that, I probably should have said. Since Dwarf Fortress is still an alpha, it can occasionally crash. I was going to save, when suddenly a goblin ambush showed up. So I immediately organize my military and order my civilians to retreat underground. Since I had setup a trap defense and my military was fairly strong, I was confident in my ability to repel the ambush with minimal injuries.

Things fell apart fast. First, 2 nameless masons and Seventh Wolf the fisherdwarf apparently didn't understand what it means to hide underground. Instead they just bunched up inside a corner and got slaughtered by the goblins. Thankfully Seventh Wolf, who was also the expedition leader, was only knocked unconscious instead of outright killed. Then I noticed a fatal flaw in my defense; there was a tiny hole the goblins could squeeze through. They completley bypassed my elaborate trap defense and charged towards the fleeing dwarves. To further add to my frustration, my military apparently came down with a case of stupid. Only two of them were engaging the goblins, while the rest where apparently dancing up and down the staircase. The two soldiers were cut down before the rest of the military came to their senses and showed up. So now I have several corpses rotting outside the front gate, I need to patch up a hole in the wall, and the military is scrambling around trying to kill the goblins. During this time Seventh Wolf bleed to death as well, leaving me with no expedition leader. Which leads to all sorts of wonderful glitches.

The last goblin ran away after his comrades fell, but no way was I going to let him live after all the grief he had caused me. I ordered my remaining soldiers to chase him down. Then, after all the stress and labor I had gone through, the game just crashed.

As you can probably guess, a large amount of rage quickly followed.

I rage internally quite often in games. Especially after a bad streak of luck. But unlike my brother I can control it.

Lag with Street Fighter 4 online and a very small case in Red Dead Redemption with poker. Those bastards always know what hand I have and then coax me into betting all in.

Fortunately I am able to quench my fiery rage by murdering them all afterwards. Yes sir ee doo.

I don't do anything physical though (apart from once), I just shout obscenities very loud.

No, being angry at sprites is something I grew out of when I broke my first Litebrite.
What did the Litebrite do to you?

OT: At most, I'll toss the controller to the floor, turn off the console, and either watch TV or read until I've calmed down. Which makes sense, since it only happens when I get stuck after playing for at least a few hours. So, it's like the game is saying I need a break.

Counter-Strike makes me rage so hard sometimes because the players have lightning fast reflexes.

The worst I'll do is beat up a pillow though.

A lot, for one a few of the spots wouldn't work, so I raged. xD
I get the feeling that moment of rage would have been just gosh-darn cute. XP

I had similar rage moments with my old Etch-a-Sketch. I could never figure out how to draw on that thing.
