I want to design a "Gamer's Club of [wherever]" along the lines of the New York Yacht Club or the Cornell Club or etc. As an architectural side project (i.e. not work-related).

THE QUESTION FOR THIS TOPIC:
What sorts of "lures" in such a building would make gamers want to go, hang out, socialize or hang out at such a club? Not just play games, but other stuff as well?

...

Already planned is are various lounges and spaces for multiplayer gaming, a "handheld lounge", an adaptable program space (large room for exhibitions, lectures, ceremonies, or rent-able for things such as birthday parties or bar mitzvahs as well), a restaurant, and a gamer-themed bar (along the lines of the Mana Bar in Australia).

Also, please don't point me to what you may thing are already-existing gamer's clubs. Obviously, those are not what I want to make, or don't fulfill what's in my head. Though there's nothing wrong with referring to various elements of such places as examples.

Alcohol. Lots and lots of that.

Maybe have a lounge for female humans, I hear they like playing games now.

And "Adult Only" Lounges for people who don't want to have to hang out with teenagers.

Hmmm...
Regarding the alcohol, if that's a lure, why aren't normal bars a lure for gamers? It's a gamer theme that would make a bar appealing to gamers, not the booze, right? Again, see the Mana Bar example.

Regarding the female lounge... that's a step in exactly the wrong direction, isn't it? Segregation? "Yeah, female gamers aren't like male gamers." Regardless, I think that idea requires input from female forum members

Regarding the adult only lounge, that seems like a good idea. It would be a good lure for people who don't have easy access to buddies for gaming. Like me, actually, whose friends are all in the rest of the world.

Alcohol is always good, no matter the target audience.

Female-only:
There are female only lounges, bars, gyms, why not a female only gamer-lounge where they won't have to deal with Fratboy McDipshit calling their "gamer cred" into question?
