A place called PC Gamerz in Kaneohe, Hawaii was attacked by robbers recently.
This is a place where gamers get together to hang out and play videogames. But one night, two people come in with masks, and start shouting at Devon Woolery (the man at the counter). They both begin to punch him, knocking his glasses off.
They then begin to shout at the customers and go around asking for their money. One of the suspects approaches a gamer called Dillon Black, and attempt to take his DS.
This guy doesn't fucking think so.
He gets up and begins to beat the shit out of one of the suspect, when Devon joins and fights them off. The robber's friends come in and drag their friends out, before making a run for it. The CCTV hasn't managed to capture any Shoryukens or Sonic Booms, but I bet there were some.
The four suspects have been sent to jail, three of which were customers at the store. (Double Agents?! Dun dun dun.)
Looks like the stereotype of gamers being pussies has been dis-proven once again! And I'm glad of it. Really taught those bastards a lesson, Double Dragon style.
So, Escapist, what do you think of this? Is it right what they did? Do you guys and girls have any other cases where gamers have fought back?
