i don't know if that's true or not, but i use it to shut people up when they're using some crap they heard on channle 4 as an excuse to not drive somewhere. it doesn't work normally. if you're too lazy to click, it basically says that if global warming is not bullshit(which it probably is) then we're allready well on our way to hell in a handbasket and no amount of can-sorting can save us now. also, if we stopped wasting money on said can sorting and whatnot then we could solve all the worlds major humanitarian problems for ever.

presonally, to me it all sounds like something the media have grossly exagerated up to scare us into watching more of thier programs. just like they did with bird flu, and and terrorism, and videogames, and...

Edit: having said that, i still think we definately need to start using more renewable energy sources, because one of these days suadi arabia is going to decide it doesn't want to sell us oil anymore. and then we really will be going to hell in a handbasket.
