my... god...
You have no life achievement? it then resets your gamerscore.Iwamori said:I wonder what microsoft would have to give the people with over 200k gamerscore...
Do people actually think that way? I feel sorry for them if they do.Sharpeye42 said:...all it does is say I've got more points so im better than you.
I didn't say that all achievements are bad and should be automatically not implemented. I'm saying that achievementhunting like how it is happening on the xbox.. is kind of crazy. I, myself have gone for several achievements in say.. Team Fortress 2 (93% of all achievements acquired). I put a little prestige in this to be honest, but I enjoy gaming Team Fortress 2, they come naturally for me!apsham said:Well, you could try to think things out before you type. The whole "not being involved in the gamerscore" thing is kind of sad, just because you can't separate yourself from the people who just farm achievements doesn't mean that the entire system is flawed. Some games I don't look at achievements, others I do.. depends on whether or not they're just linear (Oblivion's were kind of weak, it was just basically "get every rank of everything") or have some fun little things to them (can'really really think right now, but you should know what I mean.. games where you have to do little things that are off the beaten path.) In the end, doing it right adds challenge and replayability.TZer0 said:Besides, the gamerscore is an additional feature which shows exactly how little life you've got. It isn't something Microsoft wants to lose money over. Therefore.. this idea is a total no-go.

Or playing the same online matches for the rest of your natural life.apsham said:Google Chrome comes with the spell checker as well, I like it. It's not as much of a memory hog and it's pretty minimalist. Good if you're not all anal about collecting add-ons and such.
