So, this thread may be pointless, but i want an opinion that isn't clouded by my own.

So, i don't like my gamertag, but i cant be bothered shelling out the 800 points to change it, so i was wondering, if i should start another thing, deal with my name or shell out the dough.

Also, do u lose you save files when if you change to a different profile?

I have like 2000 gamerscore that i don't want to lose either.

So is there anyone who can shed some insight on my problem?

Gamerscore is REALLY important now. Sarcasm aside, it's up to you. If you enjoy having a retarded gamertag, then keep it. I will make fun of it regardless of what you pick.

Either deal with your name, or if it bothers you that badly, pay the 800 points to change it. That way, you will keep your save files and gamerscore.

The save files that were on your first profile are inaccessible to the new one.

Well, i had just Fatal Flaw, but it was taken when i finnaly hooked it up, and i tyought you could change it easier, so i just added some numbers, it was a bad decision.

EDIT: so i lose all my save files? i mean all of them? i dont care about the score or anything anymore.

Yeah you lose your save files b/c Microsoft doesn't want people transfering save files to other profiles for achievements. "Beat the game" achievements, etc.

That being said, if you pay to change your Gamertag you keep all of your save files and achievements.
