My big problem with 1 was the larger level designs. I could spend 2 hours in one battle, and make one mistake at some, and be forced to the same battle again, basically.
Really hate it when CLEARLY AIMED LANCER/ANTI-TANK SHOTS MISS THE FUCKING GIANT TANK FOR NO REASON AT THE END OF A 2 HOUR FIGHT.
Fair enough. There's also the fact that with the larger fields it's a lot easier for enemy lancers to get behind your tank and hit. Because there's never any question of
if they can hit, as their lances are made of
friendship magic. Most of the time this lead me to leave the tank parked with its radiator against a wall while my scouts did all the work.
My only major argument in favor of the bigger fields is that they're pretty. I guess that goes under "graphics".
Still, that guy who can OHKO any of your troops, has a hammer that inexplicably becomes a machine gun when he's standing around, can run across the ENTIRE field, can
resurrect dead troops and dodges everything?
Fuck that guy.
