Games and Birthdays

So today's my birthday, so to distract myself from the inevitability of getting older, and everything that comes with it, I started wondering what the best games related birthday you guys have had. And yes, I may steal any good ideas for weekend-long celebrations.

This might not be completely relevant, but this year for my birthday I'm getting a DS. I'll be 19 and it's my first ever games console.

When I was 14 I played that many hours on a game at the weekend, and 15 tried but failed for 16.

Ouch I just do what I do whenever I need some time away from the "real world". Pick 3 games and then binge until you're sated

My last one was at the end of January, blasted through Bioshock, Fallout 3 and GTAIV. I'm still playing GTA now :S

Being a gamer i go for the gaming games, for example buy a load of games and devote the weekend to completeing them on the hardest difficulty. I guess this is more of a "challenge" than a game, but has always been fun. When it my my friends birthday dead rising was out, god we had fun on that game.

P.S. The more random the games the better and make sure you have a few frinds over (obviously)

Um... Last year I had a few friends bring their Xbox 360s and had a LAN party.
It turned out shit in the end, because we only had multiple copies of, like, two games.

I remember playing 'pin the tail on the donkey' at my sixth birthday party. Good times.

My best was when I turned nineteen. My friends took me to our favourite cyber cafe, rented the whole place all night, locked the doors and we played Battlefield 1942 all night.

Pokemon Blue, i had that game right up until my birthday years ago, on the day of my birthday i left it on our house which was being built still, my dad did not come back home with it so the next day i went up there to get it and it was gone.... i miss it everyday lol
