Hi, my laptop isnt too good in the graphics department, so recent titles wont be playable. Im mainly looking for titles, rpgs preferable, to grind away on a notebook when i have nothing better to do.

Laptop specs

Windows 7 OS, 32-bit

Processor AMD Turion X2 Ultra mobile technology ZM-82 / 2.2 GHz ( Dual-Core )
Memory 4.0 GB / 8.0 GB (max)
Hard Drive 500.0 GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400.0 rpm
Operating System Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit Edition
Display Type 17.0 in TFT active matrix
Max Resolution 1440 x 900 ( WXGA+ )
Graphics Processor ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200
Optical Drive DVD±RW (±R DL) / DVD-RAM

I would hope the game's are cheap, (free is the best), for i will be going to dorm this semester, and cant bring my Ps3 since i don't want to risk it being stolen.

I guess to give more info on my tastes, spoilered below.

I liked Resonance of Fate, valkyria chronicles, im working through fallout 3 on my PC, and i played oblivion on the ps3 already(don't do this if you want a good experience) , i Dark souls was fine, i loved the FF tactics series, and out of the orginal FF games i liked 10,12,5 and 8.

I disliked any assassins creed game past brotherhood, and Batman arkham city didnt feel new enough for me. White Knight chronicles was boring TBH, and i never had any luck with fighting games, and racing games are ones i have never really gotten into. Same with MOBA games.

I'd suggest pretty much everything on the GOG game catalogue. They're all masterpieces and will work on most laptops.
Also a lot of people seem to enjoy FTL, haven't tried it myself though.

I don't know any good free games mind you, except maybe for DOTA 2 or TF2.

/\ That. GOG is a treasure trove!

Games I have enjoyed on my low-to-moderately powered laptop:
Castle Crashers
SpaceChem
Don't Starve
Mark of the Ninja
Minecraft
Bastion
Legend of Grimrock
System Shock 2
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Civ 5 (turn your graphic options all the way down!)
Endless Space
Quake
Painkiller
Half-Life (original)
