Games for my netbook?

Hey. I just bought a netbook [http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-N110-12PBK-10-1-Inch-Black-Netbook/dp/B0021AFXZO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=pc&qid=1253254529&sr=1-1] and though I bought it primarily to use for my online classes, but I couldn't resist installing Doom2 and Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic. This got me wondering what else I could install?

1.6 Intel Atom CPU
2GB RAM
512 shared VRAM

Any suggestions?

At the moment I'm running: Civ 4 Beyond the Sword (needs a bit of tweaking in the .ini files to get the resolution right, Civ III works a treat though), Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate II + Throne of Bhaal, C&C Tiberian Sun, Fallout & Fallout 2, the Abe's Oddyssee games, Morrowind. On top of this, I've got plenty of Steam games that'll run, i.e. Xcom, Braid, Peggle, Defcon, Uplink etc. You'd be surprised what you can get to run on it.

My travel notebook has specs about equal to OP's and runs plenty of games from 2000-2005 just fine. Baldur's Gate, Fallout, Rise of Nations, Morrowind, Civ III, Shogun: Total War, and plenty of other oldies-but-goodies. Check out the hits from five years ago and you'll have a good set of options. But in earnest I would recommend, Fallout 1, 2, Half-Life and its mods and Duke Dukem 3D.

Then there's also Quake, Doom, Grim Fandango, Deus Ex, Diablo and Starcraft but I personally have no experience of them.

From my personal experience and the experiences of many others.
Most are poorly built and fry themselves. Mine burnt a hole through the motherboard. I've heard of others melting their graphics cards and processors, the suckers just can't take the heat.

Strange, years in Dell support after Dell took over Alienware you would think I would have taken a great many returns regarding this issue. I also witnessed the process by which these systems are built, I assure you "poorly built" is something you made up. Like everything, you get what you pay for, still sometimes a flawed system would get through. High end system complaints are extremely rare by the way.

Don`t see many if any complaints about it here either.

I would like to add that I have had an Alienware gaming laptop for over a year now and I've never experienced any problems with it whatsoever...even after 10 hour gaming marathon sessions. You're right, he probably just had a lemon.

However, if you need to finance the laptop, I suggest that you don't use Alienware's financing options. They have the worst customer service I've ever dealt with, and they are way behind the times.

Get this, you cannot look up the remaining balance of your account online...you can't even pay your bill online! I stayed on the phone with them for over an hour trying to get them to set up electronic payments, and they refused to do it! They told me I had to pay with a check, or over the phone (which you have to pay a fee for, of course).

After I payed my laptop off, I vowed never to use Alienware's financial services again. The next Alienware I buy will be payed in full at the start, or will be financed some other way.

It also depends on your playing habits and time spent.
Playing in the bus will require different games from playing during lectures

How about Bejeweled 2?
Also yay for Diablo 1 and 2.

You could probably even get away with World of Warcraft

I play WoW on my netbook. It can't handle Dalaran or raids, but 5-man groups and soloing work just fine on low settings.
