Hi there, Escapist. How are you? I am well, thank you.

Now, pleasantries aside, let us get down to buisness, yes? I have a question for you all!

I have recently come into a credit card, which I may use to purchase some games. I am wondering what, exactly, should I purchase?

I would like to note that I do have access to Steam, and am willing to get an Origin account if need-be.

Also, don't bother mentioning Minecraft, already have it.

Thanks!

..Really, captcha?

Fancy giving us some info into as to what kind of games you like?

In absence of which, may I suggest the current Steam Quakecon pack deal?

Quick preview:
- Brink
- Morrowind GotY
- Oblivion GotY
- Fallout 3 GotY
- Fallout: New Vegas with all the DLC to date
Those are the games that stand out to me. You've also got a bunch of Quake, Doom, Wolfenstein, Hexen, Hunted: The Demon's Forge and a bunch of other games.

The main punchline? The damn thing costs only 70 euros. Pre-order Skyrim (which I also heavily suggest) and it'll cost you 56 euros. One of the best deals I've seen.

Morrowind AND Oblivion GOTY editions are on sale today.

That's a good start.

Most people I know like at least one of those.

What consoles do you have? That will make the deciding more precise.

*EDIT* If no consoles, then I suggest Dino D-Day. Awesome indie title.

I would prefer to play on the PC, if avaliable.

Also, I am sort of looking for.. A more RPG or some sort of multiplayer experience.

Pre order skyrim, if you are into FPS get bad company 2 and if you like it pre order bf3, buy the three S.T.A.L.K.E.R games they are really cheap, buy one of the Penumbra games if you liked it buy the other penumbra games, the Total War games are cool, Arma 2 and I can't really remember any more PC games, every time someone asks me to say some games or movies I know I forget everything for a few minutes.

Put the credit card away and get Team Fortress 2. It's free.

Try dungeons of dreadmore out. It's a rogulike (of sorts, anyways) and the controls aren't... the best but it's cheap and addicting.
