Games I can play with broken wrists

I'd say Crusader Kings 2, if you enjoy that sort of game. It's not that fast-paced and can easily be enjoyed slowly and without using ones hands that much.

Final Fantasy games are usually pretty chilled out. Now would be a great time to play FF13 - the thing basically plays itself after all! =P

You pretty much just have to lay your hand on the keyboard and mouse and the hands do the rest. You'll move the mouse a bit, but after some checking my wrist was still. Don't know if it might still hurt though.

pokemon games. I broke my right arm once, learned to play pokemon with only one hand, isn't hard. just a bit slower paced. Depending on the console, you could possibly play a jrpg?

Both wrists broken, that sucks, hopefully you'll be able to do something...

I would advise something turn-based, maybe you'll find a liking to it Fallout 1 and 2 are fun and don't require any fast hand movements, and if you're willing to try out turn-based strategy then Heroes of Might and Magic or The Disciples are also fun games.

Yes, Heroes of Might and Magic is your best friend with broken wrists. I broke both of mine snowboarding when I was a kid and those games helped me through the painful process.

(Pro tip: HoMM 3 is the best, so start there.)

Try older JRPGs with completely turn-based battle systems. I advocate Dragon Quest V.

Anything turn-based will be a good choice. Are you into Civilization-type games or hex-based wargames?

Well, when I broke my wrist, I could still use my thumbs. If that's the case with you, you can still play anything that uses a traditional controller.

You don't use your wrists when you use a controller unless you're playing on the Wii, so any console game should be fine.

I don't think you need to move your wrists in Kinect games.

Also maybe look for a turn-based RPG or Strategy, you can cool down after each action without being penalized.

Tom Clancy's Endwar did have full voice commands if memory serves, if you have something run it on. Other than that, I'd agree with everyone else and say something turn based.
