Morrowind would be nice, but their are already soo many mods for Morrowind that offer it with modern graphics.

Other than that? not really. Most games from my list have already been re-released.

Maybe some of the good Spyro the Dragon games, seeing them with improved visuals would be pretty sweet.

Every time one of these types of threads come up, I always say the same thing:

Star Wars: X-Wing and/or Star Wars: Tie Fighter. I used to love firing up those games and using the joystick to get in to some wicked space battles.

While these games still excel in story, atmosphere and depth, there are quite a few things about them that could use an upgrade.

Graphics for one. Even for their time they were nothing special in the visual department. Take the excellent aesthetic style of Deus Ex: Human Revolution and apply something similar to the original. Same goes for System Shock 2. I rarely ever felt like I was on a spaceship, unlike say the Dead Space games. The steampunk in Thief 2 should feel even steampunkier. Back then graphical capabilities were severely limited by the engine and hardware, but that is no longer a big concern, so there is no excuse not to inject some artistic flair into those games.

Gameplay is second, though mostly for Deus Ex and System Shock 2. Things like augmentations, psi-powers and ui could use some streamlining (by which I don't mean simplifying) so they are more intuitive and convenient to use effectively. Their combat could use improvement as well with better enemy AI, more varied enemies and better designed combat situations.

I really, really want to go back and play this game (since I never beat is a kid, for obvious reasons), but it isn't available for download on any system (that I'm aware of). And I'd rather not use... less than legal means to play it (I just don't do that kind of thing).

Why has Rare not brought this game back? In the current retro-happy market, there's GOT to be some people who would buy this game. And if Dark Souls/Demon's Souls has taught me anything, it's that relentless difficulty WOULDN'T turn people off the game.

Have you played any of the millions of mods available? That game doesn't really need a remake IMO because the modding community has made it eminently replayable to the order of infinity. Any remake will invariably screw that up. As much as I'm going to buy it, I think R2TW is just going to be (like) a modded RTW with a new engine.
