I'm not sure how likely it is to "crash" but I'm worried for Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I mean... I dont mean to sound like an old man here but a lot of the people excited for it will be because they have played the old ones and from personal experience, a lot of people I've spoken to have no idea what Deus Ex is, although broad generalisation there and it might just be my particular social circle.
Its a tricky situation, theres selling it on its name alone, bringing in old time fans, and trying to sell it to people who may have never heard of it.
I mean ok the first was only released back in 2000, so only 11 years old but when you think about it this way, with the majority of gamers these sort of games are marketed at, the 16-25 year old ish bracked (broad generalisation for examples sake, dont tear me a new one over that), the lower end would have only been 5 or 6 when it first came out and even the latter half were only 14-15, so just in the age bracket to play it.
I dunno I'm excited for it and its a deffinate purchase for me, I'm just concerned how well it will do in the market as a whole, I'm hoping I'll be pleasantly surprised.
Also completely unrelated, yay 400th post
