Games Need a Billboard Top Ten, Says ESA President

For those who don't know, in our Community tab up top, we have a link to a list of the top games Escapists are playing (those who linked their live/psn/steam accounts at least): http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/top_games

It's a pretty nifty list of what people that I would think consider themselves gamers are actually playing right now.

PS3 chart

10 HEAVY RAIN?
11 Split/Second
12 HEAVY RAIN?

Also, i can't see the PC chart changing very quickly, as the top 6 games are all Valve.

Also (IMO) the music charts are terrible, so, by extrapolating, Wii sports will be No.1 for ages....

Has anybody read the top ten list of best selling games in Game Informer? Wii Play was there for about a year, just because of the free controller. These little bonuses that come with the games would throw off the charts a bit.

The PSN stuff is a bit quirky, they report the same game with multiple versions occasionally (like collector's and non collector's editions). In this case though, it seems like they changed the unique ID for Heavy Rain at some point. Ahh well, it'll fix itself soon enough.
