Whatever, just wash your hands.
So I downloaded Warframe yesterday. Not digging how it just kinda thrust me into the action, i.e.: no tutorial or anything, just a bunch of shiny textures everywhere and menus within menus. There's just a bunch of shit going on everywhere on screen, not the lest of which is a "chat room" at the bottom left of my screen; what the hell is that?? Along with feeling like I showed up several hours late to the party, I'm getting strong Destiny vibes. Is this just Destiny? It's Destiny, isn't it? I don't want to play Destiny again.
It's not as bad as destiny about explaining things, but its not much more user friendly. Though the story doesn't remove old content so there is that. I actually can't really speak on how it progresses since I played a lot of the game in early beta where they didn't have the story laid out as they do now, so I ended up missing a lot of that. I still remember the old planet system they had and how kinda grindy it was.

OP talked about gameplay being "poorly designed" so probably I'm going slightly off-topic but the type of game I like watching not playing, I realized recently, is what Yahtzee called "walking to the right" games.

Limbo/Inside, Little Nightmares

I played Limbo and Little Nightmares but it is just walking and these weird environmental puzzles. And I have trouble with the puzzles sometimes, I miss seeing something because it's dimly lit or some weird physics platforming where I don't know if what I'm trying is not working because I'm doing it wrong or just wasting my time trying to do the wrong thing.
But the story setting and art are so cool I wanna see what happens!

So I tried Inside recently, gave up half-way through and watched the rest on youtube. And that's what I'm gonna do with Little Nightmares 2- just watch it at some point.

Getting all gold medals to unlock events and harder difficulties in Cruis'n Blast. It's not that bad, but it show the game could have used more racing courses and not difficulty padding bullshit. I know this is a port of a 2017 arcade game, but a little more could have been done. I know Raw Thrills was stressed for time and money due to covid. Maybe with another sequel. they can iron it all out.

The way unlocks worked before the patch in Final Vendetta were completely tedious and shows how short the game is. The patch irons out most of these issues, but the game could have used a few more stages and some more enemy variety. Making your game have no continues, and go back to the title screen is not fun. This was at its worst before the update.
