Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Storm 2 has a very cheap character that it seems to be not only annoying but also can alter other moves to be unaffected toward him. Deidara, the "Artist" of Akatsuki within the game is abusive to the max by most players, he spams without any cool down of throwing his clay birds, charge at you with a giant clay bird then jump off it as it crashes into you, while after staying in the air and still be throwing birds at you and when he lands instantly do the same thing again...

Even if you manage to get past that, he can Substitute and use a grab very fast that causes the giant clay bird to lift you, blow up, and place you far away so Deidara can repeat all those steps spamming. Becomes very unfair, especially if people use him in rank matches. It's almost impossible to beat a Deidara, unless you trick them (Rare), spam yourself as a Deidara or just quit before the match, but that isn't winning. Using Sasuke (Kirin) is only one able to do most damage, but even then Deidara avoids him easily. It even stresses me, glad you posted this thread so I could comment about it. Thank you.

Yeah, there are always some really really cheap characters and weapons in some online games. There are a lot of games that are fun, but as soon as you take a "fun" game and place a ranking system on it, everyone becomes really cheap. They all use the same characters, weapons, hell, even in card games, like Magic, people will use the same exact strategy as everyone else. It gets to the point, where you got to ask if they can be original at all.

And you're welcome for allowing you this space to vent. I needed it as well.

I beat his ass with a level 40 Lapras. It was immensely satisfying.

The xbox Magic the Gathering game starts cheating if you win in single player more than 5 times a day. It starts setting your deck so that you get none of the cards you want, and it gets all it's cards.

That happens to me in that game all the time. As a result I haven't one once.

Gran tourismo 5 is terrible for this. You get disqualified for knocking over cones and causing collisions but the AI does it all the time

You just need to smack him till he runs off to his moma, although damage to Lao as other G-rank monsters and elder dragons carries over from quest to quest so each time you do it, he's still on the same ammount of health.

oh and Dragon weapons, they fuck his shit up really good. Sakura record's good, esp song and stamina song help like no bodie's bussiness.

But yes, Monster Hunter had some bullshitty things, like ranomd vespoid stinging you at critical moments.

Seriously, I'm always in first about to cross the damn finish line, with three or four people right behind me, and then BOOOM FUCKING LGHTNINTNGHIHG!!!!!1!!!one!!!11! And then I end up in something like fifth. And that happens 80-90% of the time. Always makes me rage so hard.

I have long suspected the poker AI in RDR of looking in my cards. There's no possible way they can decide to stay in the game every time I bluff but quit immediately once I have good cards!

Many NPC-lives were lost at various poker tables...

The original Mariokart, on the SNES, there is documented PROOF that game cheats >.> other racers jumping WAY higher then you, reaching breakneck speeds because of an early attempt at rubberband difficulty, Mario and Luigi ALWAYS GET STARS NOTHING ELSE!

In comparison though, Mariokart Wii is feeble... It's almost hard to beilieve that it's the same series :/ (Same game almost...)


Oh! and Burnout Revenge, I watched a car BEHIND me crash into a wall, and spawn IN FRONT OF ME.
Cruis'n'world on the N64 did this too...

Wipeout HD/Fury is quite fair on Novice difficulty, it's still challenging and is as hard as any other racing game towards the end.

But cranking the difficulty up to Skilled or Elite is like inviting the AI to cheat. They blatantly go twice as fast as you and pull out the most convenient powerups.

Surprisingly it doesn't bother me though, there's really no need to crank up the difficulty unless you're going for the platinum trophy.

Racing Games. SSX Tricky (snowboarding) was really evil at this, one racer would speed past everyone and shove you into defeat. B******. Fallout 3 when I kill Roy Phillips outside Tenpenny Tower and Michael Masters knows it was me but the other one doesn't WTF?

Man, I can't hear cheating games, without remembering the very first Mario Kart, for the SNES, where the game wouldn't even pretend it wasn't cheating. The CPU weren't hit by obstacles, ran perfectly, had infinite items, and could even avoid your items by jumping them whenever they felt like doing so.
But, that's probably why it doesn't bother me so much that, in latest Mario Karts, they only get a lot of Lightnings and Blue Shells whenever I'm first. After taking almost 20 Shrinking Mushrooms from Peach and Toad on Rainbow Road on that first Mario Kart, while avoiding electric Thwomps that the CPU didn't have to worry about, this is nothing. Okay, it pisses me off sometimes, but I still take this over that cheating fiesta. It was worse than a Speed Racer race!

Actually in old days of Gaming, games cheated to make up for the lack of AI. Masters or Orion and civilization would do this.

In WoW, the chess boss(seriously) can light squares on fire messing up your pieces.

Although that isn't some kind of hidden cheating.

No game cheats worse than Age of Empires in my experience, especially II. If the AI players don't have something they need, they just spawn it. Need 5000 food to create an army to ambush a player after a prolonged battle? The AI just generates it, and you're dead.

Not to mention that ridiculous jump from Moderate to high difficulties.

Lots of games cheat. One that really got me was RISK: Factions. I had an army of 63 with a bonus dice against an army of... 2 I think. Around there at least. I walked out of that with less then 45 in my army. I've seen similar problems in Civilization Revolution/4, and RTSs like Halo Wars.

Dissidia Final Fantasy. The game flaunts the cheating in your face. Level requriments on weapons ignored, accesorry restrictions ignored, having moves that won't actually be unlocked for another 15 levels and ignoring all cp caps to have a whole lot more abilities then should be possible. And yet I still enjoy the game most of the time.
