My biggest and almost only beef about FFXII was the soundtrack.
No notable music like when Uematsu was making the music, just bland overture.

That's about it. While I'm not saying these games suck, I am saying they aren't for me as a gamer.

Halo, Borderlands, Civilization, Devil Mat Cry and mmorpgs. I have actually completed the first two and put time into the other three, thy just didn't "do it" for me.

Just don't like Gears of War. I can't get over the fact that the standard enemies look just like your buddies, so you never know what you're supposed to shoot at. Come on, how hard is it to just make them a different color or give them a highlight or something? That's basic battlefield situational awareness!

Gears of War is terrible to me. The graphics bore me, the combats boring, the story...meh.

The graphics bored you? How do the graphics... Oh, wait, Gears? Yeah, brown and grey are kind of dull. The fact that all of the characters are also brown (Locust) or dressed in grey (COG) doesn't help...

The GTA series, once it went 3D. Actually, even the 2D ones weren't that great, I just have nostalgia goggles. Or I was about 8 when I was playing them, and liked the idea of playing an 18 rated game...

For me it's probably the Final Fantasy series. Maybe I should try the others as I've only played XII but it got REALLY boring after 3 hours of playing it. I am already not a fan of RPG's, since they make you dedicate an insane amount of time to them, and there's usually too much dialogue, but this really hit it home for me.

Yes, it IS only because you've played XII. I've played Final Fantasy since I was young and I HATED twelve with a burning passion. That's more inane, unnecessary grinding for cash and levels than even a vetern RPG fan wants to deal with. Pick up old-school 4, 5, 7, 9. 10 depends on the person.

As far as which ones I dislike that everyone loves?
Name any major FPS.
I can't stand First-Person Shooters.

Religious? Most people I know hate it, especially on this site.

OT: Fallout 3, I don't HATE it, but it's certainly not as good as some people had previously made out.

Halo. I just don't like the way it controls and the layout and health systems, I too used to COD to enjoy Halo.
GTA IV. Loved the old GTAs but I HATED this one. To much messing around driving around the city, the cars all handled too realistically (I prefer the arcadey style) and it was just a real bore to play.
Final Fantasy XII. Easily the worst in the series.
Every sports game ever.

Mass Effect. I just... no, simply no. Dunno why, but it never made me tick, even though I could see how good it was.
I won't mention Oblivion because for once my friends agree with me that it's utter shite.
