Or, more specificaly, ones you still play...
Just thought of creating a quick thread after finishing off a game of Starcraft...
Such a large playerbase for its age! Well, it's just that damn fun...
Anyway, I also thought about Counter Strike, which I also play regularly...It has an even larger playerbase than Starcraft, and finally Interstate '82, which I doubt a lot of people even remember, let alone have ever heard of it.
Yes, '76 was fun but I enjoy '82 just a bit more...
Er...
Yeah, old games. There are many that are still popular and have kept most of their playerbase, despite their old graphics and simple gameplay...
Discuss I guess...

Can you believe some guy played the original Everquest for 15 years?

Uhmm idk I guess Counter Strike is pretty timeless, I'd still play it if I could.

I was just playing another round of Starfox 64. Still can't beat Venom 1 on expert.

At least I have a goal, just never though it would turn into a long term one.

I actually came in here to mention Starcraft in Korea. As for me, I still enjoy blitzing through Star Wars Jedi Knight occasionally. The live action cutscenes are awesome.

Chrono Trigger, I can replay that game about every year or so, and Oregon Trail, because for some reason I just like it

The original Sonic games...because the new ones are shite! Hopefully project needle-mouse will be good. (Yes, I know, the DS sonic games are good. But not as good as the old ones.)

90% of all the games at least about a decade ago. Too much focus on graphics nowadays, not enough fun.

I still start up Donkey Kong Country 2 every now and then. I've yet to clear the Lost World stages, even though I've had the game for years and years.

I also still play Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on my PS2, though I think it's recent enough that its time isn't necessarily over just yet.

GAH! No one's mentioned Doom yet! I'll still boot it up every once in a while to give it a run-through. Great fun.

I'm dying to replay Suikoden II and Star Ocean II. Unfortunately the former is impossible to find for less than $80 (or it use to be, maybe it's dropped in price after the release on PSP)

Warcraft III, Starcraft, Black & white I & II, Beyond good and evil, Kotor I & II, Diablo II, Gothic II & III, Drakan, Planescape Torment, Dungeon Keeper, Heroes of might and magic. Take your pick a few examples of games I still love to this day and shall continue to.
