Games that know you cheated

GTA, it stops you from completing the game 100%, not funny at all but damn annoying if your slightly OCD.

later when your fighting Pyscho Mantis you have to switch controller ports from 1 to 2 to get an egde on him after you beat him he knows you do it as well.

That's the only way of beating him, so technically not a cheat.

incorrect, you can actually beat him without changing ports, the game knows if your low on ammo so it spawns boxs whenever you need them, it takes about 50 minutes to beat him though. Trick is to shoot wildly, if you take aim he'll dodge all bullets, shoot wildly around him and he'll dodge into a stray bullet.

Ah fair enough, the only reason I found out about the plugging into the second port is cause I was told by a friend. Never even tried anything else until after.

try it on the original if you dare, it took my 50 minutes, but not on my first go.... beating him is harder than french kissing a cobra.

Achievement Unlocked, if you so much as hover over the "Hint" button you earn the achievement "Cheater!"

In Mercenaries you actually got some kind of achievment if you cheated.

I remember one other game which told you you used a cheat but I can't remember the name.

I remember when you cheated on Vectorman it wouldn't let you see the ending and instead would tell you that you should now go back and complete the game without cheating.

There was a cheat in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas called Heart Attack. It instantly killed you. I used it to great effect when my friends were playing.

One of my earliest memories, and the only arcade game I completed on 1 credit, was Rad Racer, at the end of every level the fences turned brown, at which point you could drive through them for a warp, however, the game recognised this at the end, and gave you some sarcastic "you cheated" message before not awarding you with anything lol

In Tomb Raider, you could give Lara infinites or make her invulnerable or both, can't exactly remember, by making her walk, turn and jump on the spot in a specific order.
However, if you did the same movements in Tomb Raider II, Lara would literally explode in mid-air during the final jump. Hilarous. (However, you could achieve the same cheat effect as in the first game by performing a DIFFERENT moveset...)

All mario Kart games since 64. Doesn't matter how far ahead you are. The better you do the more crap comes after you allowing everyone else to catch up. Also kinda sucks that u never get good items while in 1st place. I consider them possibly my best games skill wise. Nobody i know personally can beat me head to head. But sometimes the Ai can be sooo dammn cheap.

This is more a case of the computer cheating you for no reason, but i do remember that it infuriated me whenever Toad (and it was always Toad) would get like 50 speed boosts and cross the finish line... a millisecond before I did

I could've understood if this happened because I cheated to make my "Kart" faster, but I don't think this was the game's fault. I think Toad was just being a dick.
