Fuck that, and the kicker is by having her killed he dies as well because of their pact from the first game.

Thanks for reminding me of this. I was expecting a "big name" character to go but this really caught me off guard. The way it dissolves into 'Mad World' is genius.JackandTom said:I've never actually cried at a game (or movie) but this is the saddest scene in my opinion. I know a lot of people will disagree but...

I've seen loads of people saying things like "the story doesn't matter on Gears of War. You only play it for the action!" But personally I loved the plot and this scene nearly made me cry huge manly tears. Maybe you have to play the whole series, but I played as this character throughout the other 2 games. At least he went out epically.
when i first got to that scene, i sat in the corner of my room for half an hour, just in that almost crying state, other that that bastion (zulf) and CoD4, when the nuke gets dropped,i am really skeptical of war games, and that scene....natster43 said:The end of Professor Layton and the Unwound Future made me tear up. as soon as mad world started i yelled "NO, NO YOU BIG DUMB BASTARD" at my tv, whilst blubbering.JackandTom said:I've never actually cried at a game (or movie) but this is the saddest scene in my opinion. I know a lot of people will disagree but...

that made my cry a little. perhaps the hight of david's misfortune is that he was highly autistic his entire life, he never lived a normal life. and then he ends up in..in...*sniff* THAT.Gammayun said:Now an amazing thing for a game is for it get you emotionally invested in the story, some even mannage to get the audience to cry (doesnt include crysis cause it killed your computer). Now the only game that i know has made me cry is the ending to mass effect 2 overlord dlc.
Does anyone have a game that made them cry or at least shed a tear.
First time in a long time that I've been ninja'd in one of these threads. The Drakengard series is one of the few series to move me emotionally, and it is why I love them so very much.Smeggs said:OHSHI-Wait, I can't forget about Drakengard. Depressing as shit, worst was in Drakengard 2.
