yeah, got this Idea obviously from the other thread (its similarly named), but its pretty much the exact opposite of this thread and I did search bar this, and a variation, seems to be original.

So the question is games that make you feel like shit, they could either beat you down, call you names or, just generally make you angry and make you think your a failure, like modern warfare 2 multiplayer does to new players for example.

It can be any game new or old. just has to make you feel bad.

This game. is. freaking. IMPOSSIBLE.

I spent an entire week trying to get 100%, couldn't do it.

Seriously, this game will make your blood boil.

Well, I'm currently playing through God of War, and there has been many a moment when I can't beat a puzzle for an hour, but then kick myself when I do because it's so easy. Right now though, I'm especially angry because I've just reached the part...
...where you're in hell and you have to climb up those freaking rotating columns with spikes on them. It's one of the most frustrating things I've ever had to do.

While on inFamous being the good guy is less fun, but feels good.

While being the bad guy is more fun, feels good, but I still don't like it when people criticize me, fuck you Kessler and Trish.

Also Fallout 1, the sheer difficulty of it tells you it doesn't give a fuck about who you are, it just wants you dead.

Died SO much during that level. Especially going for those extra chests.

I remember playing my Dreamcast.
I remember playing Soul Calibur.
I remember throwing my Dreamcast pad across the room and watching it smash against the wall.
I remember feeling sad. It was the first and last time I threw a control pad, not sure if it was Soul Calibur's fault or if I was simply a bad loser when I was smaller... Either way that's my story... But it may not be the end; I'm hoping to pick up Demon's Souls soon and from what I hear it could be just the game I need for some nerd rage.

Kana: Little Sister.

If you've heard of the game, you can probably guess why.
Heard of it, tried it and totally get why. I would tell you that you should've expected as much, based on the concept, but I suppose that would be a matter of the pot and the kettle regarding blackness. In my defense, I played it because I read the description and thought:"There is no way in hell. This is a joke, right?" It's not a joke. It's just creepy.

Shadow of the Colossus and Ico. I love them to death but their endings always leave me depressed. :/

Naturally I expected as much; hell, I would have been seriously disappointed otherwise. Granted, the game also lures you in first with hope before reminding you that <color=white>oh, right, she's terminally ill. Enjoy your next six months and all.

Also...what does the saying about the pot and the kettle have to do with anything, and what's so creepy about a game where the main character takes care of his terminally sick younger sister?

Car racing games in general because I;m am so woefully bad at them and always fail at them, and I simply don't enjoy them even on the odd occasion when I do well.

An exception to this is Burnout Paradise, that was a fun game.

The Pitt in Fallout 3. Fuck you and your fucking choice right at the end. As punishment for manipulating me I took a power axe to every single slave straight afterwards.

Why did you capitalize like? How does that make any sense at all in that title as a stressed word? Read it out loud it just doesn't work.

OT: WoW because I realized that I had been duped into playing a piece of crap for a month and a half when I got to the fabled endgame and realized that was really not that fun nor worth the grind.
