Final Fantasy XII. I was new to the PS2 when I first played it, and the GODDAMN CAVE was CONFUSING AS HELL for some reason.

Both UFC Undisputed games. play a title fight on career or title mode and you will find out why.

Ninja Gaiden, damn Spirit Doku.
Izuna, freaking forty level dungeon.
I wanna be The Guy, damn fucking everything!
Yet after some time to cool down I eventually went back and beat all of those games.

I will admit, I have a temper, I *****, ALOT. But I usually only quit when victory is so improbable that enduring more noobage isn't worth it.

MW2 and Gears are my best examples of this.
Whoever called it a reflext test is right on, I find no amount of sneaking, or aiming skill beats that one ************ running around with a p90 or dual G18s, just snapping off as soon as you look around the corner. I miss the tactical, when there were few enough people that you could BE undetected, and the pray and spray option wasnt the ONLY option.
Even the FAL is used to rapidtap, I miss my G3. Anyway, I run okay scores but seeing some punk sniper get a nuke when my team had 245 on HQ is just damn infuriating. Then there are Rust matches, no words needed there. Lastly, I don't snipe, so snipe matches aren't great, especially Afghan, but when my team decides SHOTGUNS are the best way to deal with those FUCKING SONOFABITCHING Interventions, I am not gonna stick around for the rape, I'll find a match where I can do something.

Gears, Shotguns, ALWAYS, nuff said.

I sometimes drop singleplayer games, but its not usually rage, its more like "game has ceased to be fun now, recreational value = nil, changing activities" I don't play to win, I playt to enjoy myself, experience a story or something, not to beat my head against a wall till it breaks.

Now in other multiplayer, Cod4, Halo3, etc, I usually never quit unless my team is so stupid I am barely able to spawn, at this point I see no honor or value in continuing.

Co-Op is fastest for quits, if I start Vs in L4d(1 or 2) I had better hear fucking VOICES and I'd better see coordinated action, not 4 idiots trying to get their own achievements.
I will leave the second I join if not, I am not here to carry those bitches to victory. Especially since games take nigh to an hour, I am not running a charity, I have my own achievements(sometimes, and never at expense of victory), and I get frustrated fast.

Finally, I pwn griefers if possible, but leave otherwise, again, I'm here to have fun, if thats not possible I will seek entertainment elsewhere.

You rage quited in "The Witcher"? A single player game? I suggest you don't touch multiplayer titles for a while.

Like most of the posts here, I don't usually do it, but when I do, it must be Modern Warfare 2.

YUP. although I sold that game as I will be playing reach soon. And I couldn't handle the rage anymore. I'm pretty sure I would have had an anirisim.

MW2 of course. But TF2 gets me sometimes too. The enemy player's conveniently-timed random crits, the lag-induced backstab misses, 3 heavy + medic teams camping the spawn can really make me despise that game.

At least for a few hours, before I get back and play it again.

Yes. I often get frustrated with multiplayer, but I just can't bring myself to quit when there are other people.... I don't tend to type any swearing or insults either.... I may well be missing part of my brain.

That said, I'll happily shout a tirade venomous filth whilst playing... just not on voice chat.

Single player though, that can really get to me.

Cod4 for the mass grenade spam / martyrdom / noob tubes / P90s.

CS:S for the terrible hitboxes and arcade-style damage system.

That's it really.

I hate people who ragequit in online games so I try to never do it myself, I almost always at least finish the current round, unless my team is grossly outnumbered or someone on the other team is glitching or something like that. But the games which bring me closest to ragequitting are MW2 of course, Left 4 Dead, and, sadly, sometimes even TF2. In TF2 I especially hate it when I'm playing against a couple of really good players and I'm getting stomped not because I'm doing badly myself but because the rest of my team is pants-on-head retarded. I know that's what I get for joining random games, but really, some of these people are so stupid, and it's even worse when they're not using their mic too so I can't even try to help them improve.

I have ragequit perhaps once in MW2 and that was the entire enemy team plus all my team members were levelling bastards who jumped around and spun on 10 sensitivity trying to quickscope each other, and when I killed them they screamed at me down the mic, so I quit the game. Not exactly ragequit.
And most of the time it's "LOBBY CLOSED. COULD NOT MIGRATE HOST" so there's not enough time to quit.
But if I do come up against a particularly tough opponent, I stick with it and usually do really well after 10 minutes of getting frustrated because I play smart.

This. If it's not some shotgun-dual-weilder, its a camper who gets a tactical nuke, or maybe a noobtuber, or I have to spend half the match hiding from a pavelow that came right after a harrier that was preceded by an attack chopper.
You know you can use your own grenade launcher, shoot down air support and keep your distance from shotgun wielders? Stop bitching just cause you suck.

I have ragequit from CSS so many times..

Mw2 hands down. It takes about 15 minutes for a piece of my soul to die in that game. 30 on a good day...

Oh crap, the snipers that hit you from 5 miles away who turn out to be 6? Yeah, MW2.

Oh and maybe BioShock 2, you can NEVER escape the xx||xxxSnIpEzzzZxx|| style names.
