Games that NEED a Sequel

I'd like to see a sequel to Arcanum, personally, but not a direct plot sequel, more a game set in the same general universe.

Anyone remember GUN? Western game that is always compared to or mistaken for Red Dead Revolver? That game kicked ass and needs a sequel. It'll have it's work cut out for it though since Red Dead Redemption set the bar into the stratosphere but I think it can be done. Also Borderlands and Alpha Protocol.

Dark Void. I got it the other day cos it was cheap and I needed something else to get a 4 games deal thing. It had a good idea but the story telling could have done with a lot more work and the acting too but the mechanics of the game where really good.

EA announced that they were cancelling the sequel already in development, because the first game didn't get enough money to risk a sequel. The decided to turn the entire studion towards BF3.

They announced afterward that they didn't actually cancel it.

Alan Wake
Mirror's Edge
Enslaved: Odyssey to the West
Maybe Red Dead Redemption, about what his son did (maybe he goes to war?)
Metroid Prime 3, so they can deliver on their secret ending cliffhanger
Halo 3 (and ODST so we can see what happens to that team)
Halo Wars (I want to know what happened to the Spirit of Fire)

Any other games I feel deserve sequels are definitely getting them, so there we go.

I think Redemption needs a Prequel. I wanna know how John was in his gang. Or maybe a DLC on what Jack did from 1911 to 1914.

Along with Starcraft, Dungeon Keeper is one of the VERY few RTS games I really enjoyed. I think it's mostly because you can recruit enemies to your side (by torturing them) and even take control of your monster's minds to wade into battle yourself. How many RTS games let you get right in the mix like that?

...okay, Brutal Legend, but that game sucked.

Also, a Bayonetta sequel would be nice.

Half life 2 EP 2, valve need to stop messing about and finish the plot.
KOTOR 2, needs to finish the whole storyline one way or another, Im sure TOR will be a excellent MMO but its set way after the KOTOR storyline so there is room to finish it.
