[sub] am I the only one who wants to see how Advent was supposed to finish?[/sub]
No! I loved Advent rising!
It was my first shooter.

I honestly don't remember it being that bad at all. a bit buggy maybe, but that game was fun!

Skies of Arcadia Legends - Yeah, sure, it was a remake of a Dreamcast game with a bunch of other stuff that wasn't in the original game, but it was a good RPG, the characters were pretty likeable, the locations were colorful and varied (compared to modern games, I could crap myself just for seeing the colors blue, green and yellow in various areas), everyone's stories get wrapped up nicely and it is set up pretty well for a sequel. I mean, yeah, the game wraps things up almost TOO well (as far as the main characters go, anyway) and by the end the whole world is explored, removing that whole "exploration" aspect, and there's really not much of a bad guy for the ending, Valua's defeated and under the rule of its prince who was following you around from about the halfway mark. Really, Skies of Arcadia Legends CAN come up with a competent bad guy by using the old cop-out idea of "set it in the far future/distant past." Even so, Skies of Arcadia Legends was a great game and I'd love to see a sequel to it.

Psychonauts - Okay, now this one is the perfect candidate for a sequel. It ended on a cliffhanger, the first game was great (except for some spotty platforming now and then (and even then they were great) and the occasional easy boss fight), the characters were extremely likeable, the jokes were funny and the situations and scenarios were great. And let's not forget that it's one of Schafer's titles, and they're always good (yes, I enjoyed Brutal Legend). Like I said, the first game ends on a cliffhanger, leaving it in a perfect place to pick up a sequel. In fact, Double Fine's even hinted at a Psychonauts sequel on their website. Now if only those magnificent bastards would announce it...

Banjo-Tooie - Banjo-Kazooie...now this was a fun series. The first game was huge, the second was massive, so why a third? Well first of all, I completely disregard Nuts n' Bolts as a legitimate Banjo-Kazooie sequel. Second, Gruntilda clearly states that she'll get even with the bear-and-bird in Banjo-Threeie. Rare, come on. MAKE IT!

Pyschonauts. Needs. A. Sequel.

Also, Too Human could do a sequel if they can fix what was wrong with the first game (I just loved the story in that).

It's kind of an old game, but I would like to see someone make a Commandos 3.
I think the older games should be focused on since there are A LOT of old games that needed sequels. Not sure if I agree with Commandos though. Not that the Commandos games were bad in any sort of way (I thought they were fun), it's just that games in the World War 2 setting have been done to death already. I'd like to see the game industry tackle some other periods of war throughout history. How about the first World War for starters? Would be really interesting to see how game developers tackle the issue of making trench warfare interesting and exciting despite the fact that many trench fighters had to spend days and days just sitting and waiting.

Anyhow, sequels I'd like to see the most would be the planned sequels for Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth that never came out. I tell you, the guys who did CoC: Dark Corners are true masters of delivering a truly Lovecraftian experience. It's like they raised Lovecraft himself from the dead while developing the game and asked him for tips and directions.

And for that game they only used a handful of Lovecraft's short-stories as inspiration (primarily The Shadow over Innsmouth and The Shadow out of Time). Just think what this team could have pulled of if given time and resources to make some of H.P Lovecrafts other masterpieces come to life in a video game format.

Also, even if the graphics for CoC: Dark Corners of the Earth certainly filled their function, they were a little outdated even when the game came out. It would be very cool to see a re-make of the game but with the graphics that the PS3 and Xbox 360 could deliver.

So, a reanimation and institution of a Call of Cthulhu franchise would be very much appriciated.

Zone of the Enders 3, anyone?

I wants my next-gen Jehuty. It'd be lovely if it ended up being a multiplatform title.
This. I loved two, and for me a ZoE's game is as good as a new Metal Gear game.
Number 2 was just amazing (although technically they're one game the way one is extremely short and ends abruptly)
for me though, Deus Ex II: Invisible War needs a sequel and not a dumbed down retarded shooter version of it thanks very much Squenix...

Is that game worth buying for $25? I was interested when it first came but didn't have a 360. Everyone slandered it, but it still interested me. So, preowned is it good enough to pick up for $25? I see it everywhere but I just don't know. I'm an rpg fanatic (turn based, real time strategy, action, you name it).

I might wait for it to come down. The combat is unique to say the least and takes some getting used to. Otherwise it was pretty fun. The customization was decent as well.

If you do get it, just be prepared to die a lot.

This is a gaming forum people. There's only so much to talk about before subjects start repeating. I do agree that the title needs a little originality.

OT: I would love to see a next gen sequel to the Medievil games. Those things were fun.

I'm fine with that. I love hard games. Big fan of Demon Souls, Sonic 06, Unleashed, Zone of the Enders, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, Vampire Rain: Altered Species and Cross Edge.
I'll wait a while, but it sounds decent enough.

A portion of the games mentioned in here already have just come out in the last 6 months. Give them time, people, sequels will be coming for them.

I really liked the Onimusha series, but I've heard back and forth on whether a sequel is in development. Onimusha 1 was good, 2 was meh, 3 was awesome, DoD was meh, hopefully the pattern will continue if they make another.

Another [PROTOTYPE] would be awesome... esp. if they could incorporate other elements like destructible structures a la Red Faction: Guerrilla. Just imaging e the destruction you could cause, being a living wrecking ball... which brings me to...

Blast Corps 2. The fact this hasn't been made yet is a travesty.

And also... I need a new Hitman game. No, I'm not not asking. I'm needing one.
